this documentation is a recap of the lives of survivors. some of whom, are still out there surviving now. West Los Angeles has become ground zero for its high outbreak rating. This is a story of multiple individuals fight for survival. these documents however are not complete. this story ends where your story begins. (i originally begin composing this story because i was so sick of the worthless zombie films that hit the market, so worried about ratings and box office sales they forget to stay true to the survival HORROR genre. i want to change that. i want a zombie film true to its roots. a film that makes you cringe at the thought of an outbreak. no more holding back on gore or morality. the only real way to scare someone viewing a survival horror film is to make them survive the horror.) keep in mind this is an extremely rough version, i mainly just want to post what i have right now to get some feedback from fellow fans of the genre, whether positive or negative. it is not complete, it is roughly about 30-45 minutes of a movie- with no dialogs, only story. i am not a professional writer, just trying to get my ideas on paper in a some what orderly fashion, please excuse any punctuation errors or run on sentences as they are vast. the characters are also very shallow at the moment, i didnt spend alot of time building up their personalities yet. as i said it is a work in progress, incomplete. The location also can be changed im not positive yet as to where is the best location. Im not even sure if this is the best spot to post this but.. what the hell. enjoy COPYRIGHT 2008 I. outbreak of infection- overview introduction 1. though with extraordinary success in animal testing and 1st stage testing in humans, the newest stem cell cloning conjured up by Am-Gone scientists is uncontrollably killing female human trials in laboratories outside of Los Angeles. The Am-Gone Corporation had hoped for new means of producing stem cells and birthing clone babys in human females. Am-Gone used Chinese female immigrants illegally transported here with Am-Gone supply routes to test there newest lot of serum. They accidentally developed the most deadly virus of all time. The T-215 serum leads to convulsions and foaming of the mouth after 24 to 72 hours. The 1st generation infected (ones who had serum injected) have a slower moving virus at first. After there convulsions and foaming the victim will die and remain dead for another 24 to 72 hours. Reanimated Zombie attack Victims with non fatal wounds will become unconscious, die, and reanimate within 72 hours after coming in contact with the virus and will have bleeding eyes, no frontal lobe brain function, with an intense rage and hunger to replenish viral cells. Zombie attack victims killed by zombie inflicted wounds who die before the infection kills the host will die for a period of 10 seconds and reanimate with bleeding eyes, no frontal lobe brain function, with an intense rage and hunger for blood to replenish viral cells. As estranged T-215 test subjects complain of hot flashes and immense shortness of breath, vomiting, and bleeding at the fingernails then began to die uncontrollably by cardiac arrest in laboratories. Am-Gone officials and top secret workers attempt to cover up the situation, as to not start public uproar, by removing the Chinese immigrant test subjects in there storage bins, that are to be taken to San Pedro Harbor and shipped out to return with more goods. Once in the middle of the pacific the bin would be dropped to the bottom of the deep, concealing there damages. Approximately 24 hours after the subjects had died the body’s are stacked into trucks were workers attempt to load the 100 body’s to be taken to the storage bins. Am-Gone scientists have the lower level workers remove the body’s from the test labs into the morgue before the trucks had arrived to conceal smell. Amgen is aware of the danger and severity of their situation. There are many still living test subjects in Amgen being prepared to be sealed off into containers and dropped into the ocean alive. The lab workers accidentally get morgue charts with 2 patients switched and an infected individual is taken to a different floor leaving the still infected test subject in a medical bed hooked to all monitors and IVs. The living subject passes and is taken to the morgue by medical employees. The infected test subject is transported by ambulance to an offsite morgue with no sense of urgency, leaving the Labs at approximately 7am. During transportation of the body to the morgue the EMT’s are on their way to make a regular stop off La Cienega… the body reanimates with the virus, slowly it scoots to the cab area of the truck, the undead sits up in the body bag, EMT passenger notices the body in fear, thinking it has to be a joke they start to talk to the bag, he reaches slowing toward the black zipper of the bodybag then quickly pulls it down a few inches of the bag to see who is inside. An undead creature explodes out to bite the side of the neck and head of passengers while beating and scraping at the face and body of the victims. The vehicle crashes into the car in front of it on la cienega blvd at 7:38am. The 2 passengers now with heavily inflicted fatal wounds die and reanimate within 10 seconds of their death. At that point in the viruses stage in the 1st few hosts the virus has evolved becoming much more contagious threw any blood to blood contact or zombie inflicted non-fatal wound, reanimating the host within 72 hours if bitten non-fatally. As the passengers die and reanimate, they immediately spring the vehicle and stumble the streets with a jog to slow run speed. The undead ghouls aimlessly attack passerby’s to certain death and reanimation. As chaos ensues zombies attack near by prey as food and to spread the virus as it wants to spread to ensure its survival,. Attacking with fists, finger nails, teeth biting, going for any visible flesh, biting off fingers and tearing off limbs, ripping flesh. Undead monsters break car windows and attack their drivers and passengers to death. Useless attempts by crowds to fight back by hand to hand are annihilated by swarms of undead, As helpless civilians throw blows into zombie faces they break out the teeth of undead monsters into there knuckles, ensuring there slow death and reanimation. Swinging lead pipes and any other blunt objects only protects a few individuals for a mater of time before they are overrun by undead ghouls. The streets are ramped with Traffic accidents and miscellaneous debris. Cars are running over lines of zombies at 60mph. Within minutes emergency police and medical services are dispatched through out Los Angeles County, with the relentless attack of the undead, attempts at protection and evacuation are inapplicable. National Guard services arrive 12 hours after the initial outbreak on la cienega entering the city from north, east and south with attempts to quarantine which are useless. Countless individuals with zombie inflicted wounds leave the county undetected and will die within 72 hours and the already dead will reanimate. Countless outbreaks erupt all over the city as victims are killed and zombies flee in all directions in a search for food. Local police, emergency and swat teams are dispatched immediately following outbreak reports. Teams of swat attempt to set up road blocks and blockades to route hungry undead, with limited manpower and insufficient ammunition swat members battle zombies with grenades, high caliber weaponry blasting threw zombie faces leaving mush and entrails. As the swarms get closer heavy shotgun fire rips threw undead only to have them keep there attack steady unless completely physically immobilized or have fatal brain or spinal column trauma. Mass looting and chaos remains eminent, as undead reign over more and more ground spreading infection outside of the county and beyond. National Guard attempts multiple search and rescue operations via helicopter and ground forces. Armored vehicles and humvee’s are stopped by blockades, ghost traffic, wrecked buildings and fires. Picking up the wrong survivors enables zombie infestation aboard helicopters bringing choppers crashing into skyscrapers and homes. A third party government funded agency wishes to obtain blood samples and subjects out of this deadly tragedy to produce a highly effective military weapon to be utilized as chemical warfare, and to produce a vaccine if possible. Which is why they got the greenlight from the government to begin there operations. While there was a government atleast. This third party had promised they can help stop this outbreak with there private army and begin rescue operations alongside the national guard to save survivors. There real intentions remain hidden. The corporation wishes to obtain samples of this virus and test subjects of there own from right here in Los Angeles County so they can reproduce and sell this virus on the blackmarket as the newest and most effective chemical warfare known to mankind. After a few hours of the initial outbreak the city is left in ruins and overrun with undead monsters. roaming the streets for survivors to prey upon. Only few are left held up in buildings and homes, on the streets, attempting to escape the mayhem. 31 people remain held up in WALMART at Crenshaw and martin luther K. this is their stories of survival or demise. II. Characters – overviews Wal-Mart employees – 1. #1 Jack Howes – short, white, skinny, 45, redneck, beard/mustache, wearing tattered blue jeans, white v-neck underneath Wal-Mart smock, Budweiser hat, old dirty running rebocks. – jack works the night shift stocking at Wal-Mart he leaves work at 9am like always to head up to the bus stop to catch a ride home only to the bus. Horn blowing. People screaming inside. moving full speed down Crenshaw and smashes through 4 cars in front of him. Witnessing some being eaten alive by undead inside the bus, passengers, victims, and zombies pour onto the streets from the busses stuck open door. countless cars are attacked by the undead, some begin running over zombies and bystanders if they were in the wrong path, jack quickly departs back into Wal-Mart at 9:08am. Almost being struck by BGK’s car in the parking lot, sending BGK’s car into a 180 degree spin hitting a pole. 2. Mary Ellis-38 fat short white women with blonde hair in curls, a low cut white shirt exposing more of her chest then anyone cares to see, glasses, blue jeans and white newbalances, was still inside working the front when jack returns from Crenshaw. 3. Sharmia Jackson-43 big booty black women, dark hair with a weave, hoodie underneath her Wal-Mart smock, tight jeans, fake nails, and an attitude starts her day shift checking groceries in Wal-Mart when jack returns. 4. Georgia franklin-22, black, trendy, attractive, blue jeans and hoodie underneath her Wal-Mart smock as she talks to sharmia standing next to her register, watches people pour into Wal-Mart. 5. Johnny Wick-35 white, average stature, dirty appearance, work boots, leaving with jack, gets into his car unaware of a disturbance remains for a few min before slowly driving out of the parking lot only to get T-boned by a passing car flying through at 70mph ripping johns car to pieces killing both drivers. 6. Maria Lopez- 28, Hispanic, mother, works Wal-Mart day shift, started at 8am, wearing tight blue jeans, white addidas, white hoodie underneath Wal-Mart smock, dark hair, gold hoop earings. Checking out customers in Wal-Mart when jack returns. 7. Stanly Wilson- 40, black, bald, mustache, average stature, working customer service, wearing black slacks, shirt and tie, the only manager on duty this Sunday. Minimal employees working on Sunday morning. Stanly is Laid back and cracks jokes on everyone. He looks down the way to watch jack scream in with fear. 8. Kevin McAnelley-26 white, stoner, chubby, smart, smokes weed before he comes into work and on every break, Kevin stocks produce and listens to his ipod working 40hours/week. Wearing tan slacks, white shirt underneath Wal-Mart smock. Black shoes. Watches jack sprint through the door way with terror in his eyes. 9. Tyler Roberts(T-rob)-27 black, go getter, makes his money where he can, works full time, hustles full time, got his own apartment in Inglewood, deals weed and coke, Kevin usually picks up a quad every Friday. Assistant manager on duty underneath Stanly. Hits the club every weekend all weekend, Sunday night he hits up the after parties and leaves at 7am, he’s got work at 8am. Makes it just in time as he takes a key bump in the parking lot before he throws on his tie and heads into Wal-Mart. His Addiction to cocaine has become very serious within the last few months. He is Working when jack comes running back into the store. 10. Chris Munoz-19, Hispanic, shaved head, tattoo’s, ex-knuckle head. Stocking shelves in the canned goods, wearing tan work boots, dark blue dickies, dark blue Wal-Mart shirt with a white flannel underneath, back brace, always keeps a knife on him to open boxes, prefers his personal knife over box cutters. Starts to make his way out the back door expecting a delivery truck. He smokes a cigarette and waits.(loud speaker attack shuts gates) 11. Jose Esquivell-47, Hispanic, hardly speaks English, master of the custodial arts, wearing dark blue jump suit, black work boots, mustache, scruffy 5 O’clock shadow, long black curly hair, mops the break room in the back, always has a smoke at 10am out the side door so no one see’s him. 12. Jaunita Williams-57, black, all soul, black hair, probably a wig, well done makeup, fat, slow walk, a waddle almost, believes she is big and beautiful, always smiling, scratchy voice, working the returns desk right next to Stanly when jack comes in. she is constantly hitting on Stanly. -Survivors- overviews- 13. Bijeaun Kimu Jones (BGK) -23, black, shaved head, wearing jeans, newest MJs, white tall t, hoodie, shades, bandana, small time underground rapper, small time gangster, stays in the hood, wakes up in his apartment next to a girl he partied with the night before, when he hears a women screaming outside, he gets up pissed off and looks out the window. He see’s one of his neighbors running away from 2 zombies, un-relentlessly chasing her and finally tackling her down and ripping her to pieces, then he watches in fear as her dead body slowly gets up and starts walking the streets. He quickly gets dressed, breaks open the door of his roommate Jermane Sawyer tells him to get the fuck up they got to go, leaves the bitch sleeping, and grabs his stash, and his .45 2 clips, and a box of bullets he empties out and slams the bullets in his pocket. He looks out the front peep hole only to hear more screams and see the door across from him left open and blood on the walls. He locks the door chain and cracks the door open to take a look, a zombie slams into the cracked door only holding by the chain, he turns around and the girl is in right in his face, wondering what the fuck is going on, he throws her out the way and runs to the back bedroom, him and Jermane throw the window up and hop out on the roof, as they run to the back the door the chain busts off and the undead pummel the girl on the floor. they jump out the window to the ground and fall a little, start dippin out to his car, running through the street random chaos ensues, they turn to see the same neighbor from the window, she looks pale and has heavily inflicted wounds all over her body yet has no emotion in her undead eyes, he stumbles, nervously pulls his .45 and shoots her in the head, They both get into the car and they quickly depart, random traffic and crashed cars block roads, he strikes 2 undead with his vehicle and ends up in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 9:08am nearly hitting Jack, they swerve and make 180 degree spin into a pole, they exit the vehicle uninjured, yelling at jack to stay the fuck out the road as him and Jermane make there ascent into the Wal-Mart doors right behind jack. 14. Jermane Sawyer- 25, black, hustler, stoner, local DJ, small time gangster, MJ’s, braids, keeps a pistol on him at all times, passed out in his clothes from the night before, cigarette pack full of jays, a pistol is perched on the dresser next to him, bandana underneath his LA hat, wakes up when BGK breaks open his door and yells at him to get the fuck up, he wonder why the fuck this nigga is bustin up in his room, then he stands in the doorway and stares down the hall as he see’s BGK walk down, he hears some commotion, see’s the girl walk down the hall, hears them yell and see BGK coming running up the hall and telling Jermane to follow him, then open a back window and jump out off the room to the street, running threw the street with chaos everywhere, BGK shoots there neighbor in the head, and they jump in his car and BGK starts driving, they talk in the car shortly about why the fuck BGK was shooting people, while dodging roadblocks and crashed cars, they end up in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 9:08am nearly hitting Jack, they swerve and make 180 degree spin into a pole, they exit the vehicle uninjured, yelling at jack to stay the fuck out the road as him and jermane make there accent into the Wal-Mart doors right behind jack. 15. The McFarlin Family – Ted McFarlin-46 white, blue jeans, sweatshirt, ball cap, country boy, suburban family, he’s a quite guy, with a heart of gold, but a history of excessive violence, he was kicked out of the Marine Corpse for beating a fellow troop he saw make unwanted advancements on a girl at a bar 10 years earlier. He is shopping at the Wal-Mart at the time of the attack, 16. Susan McFarlin- white 40, blue jeans white tank top, sneakers, blonde hair, average build, 17. Jimmy McFarlin-9 tan jeans, He’s wearing his favorite European teams Soccer jersey, He carries around small size soccer ball everywhere he goes. 18. Lawrence McFarlin-11, green shorts, black shirt, skate shoes, beanie. The typical adolescent. Always disobeying his parents and wandering off on his own. 19. Jennifer Blackmore- 29, white, black hair, attractive, rookie emergency room doctor at cedar Sinai who just got off a shift at 7:30am and made her way to Wal-Mart to do some shopping before heading to her apartment. In line to check out when the commotion starts as jack returns. 20. Jeff Harwood-36, white, suit, businessman, dark hair, 5 o clock shadow, on his way to work when he notices people running of to his left. Stuck in traffic he can do nothing but stare, after a second he realizes why they are all running. zombies follow close behind ravaging stragglers. He guns it up over the curb onto the side walk, dodges a few cars threw an intersection and drives down Crenshaw, at the corner of Crenshaw and Martin Luther a car barley swipes his left side spinning his car out of control into the parking lot of Wal-Mart at 9:08am, as his car spins, it strikes a zombie sending it flying a good 20 feet skidding on the asphalt, the car who just missed him, Carlos Verez and his brother Antonio Verez, slide to a stop in front of Jeffs car, they get out and help him out of the car, the 3 run into Wal-Mart. 21. Carlos Verez- 22, Hispanic, wearing white tall T, shaved head, couple tattoos, khakis and white air force ones, him and his brother Antonio just dropped off their grandma at church, making their way back to get some food, zombies stand in the middle of the road, they stop and Carlos yells out the window to find out what that person is doing, the zombie makes its way closer and closer to the car, as it approaches Carlos notices its undead features and punches the gas and runs over the zombie and drives wildly up the road coming up on an intersection sideswipes Jeffs car and sends it spinning out of control flipping up the curb, they follow the wreckage and stop and help Jeff out of his Car and run into the nearest shelter, Wal-Mart at 9:10am. 22. Antonio Verez-19, Hispanic, wants to be just like his brother, black tall T MJ’s, dark jeans, LA hat, Antonio just dropped off their grandma at church, making their way back to get some food, zombies stand in the middle of the road, they stop and Carlos yells out the … the zombie makes its way closer and closer to the car, as it approaches Carlos notices its undead features and punches the gas and runs over the zombie and drives wildly up the road coming up on an intersection sideswipes Jeffs car and sends it spinning out of control flipping up the curb, they follow the wreckage and stop and help Jeff out of his Car and run into the nearest shelter, Wal-Mart, arriving at 9:10am 23. Wanda Mckinny- 35 black, hair dresser, wearing Capri’s and a shirt, heels, on her way to work when police and swat vehicles roll up behind her, swat members start evacuating all the cars 1 by 1 banging on windows escorting people back, swat officer Dave Granthum and swat officer Mike Kobick pull Wanda out of her car, they run back towards the swat vehicles, the area overrun with the sound of gunshots, full automatic weapons shooting steady then running dry, teams of zombies come from behind forcing the 3 to maneuver into the Wal-Mart parking lot, all other swat members have been overrun along with people they were rescuing, setting up containment behind a van, keeping cover fire on both ends zombies are blasted down by swat m4 fire, more and more keep emerging in the area, the 3 quickly move into the Wal-Mart at 9:15am. 24. Swat Officer Dave Granthum-38 white, moral man, ex military, wife and kids that he wants nothing more then to save civilians, dispatched to cover 5 blocks only covered half of 1 because of casualties and number of attackers, his swat van stops in traffic releasing the 14 men ready to roll inside, all pushing forward begin rescuing and evacuating people stuck in cars, eliminating zombie threats as they were still low in the area, which quickly changed. He Knocks on the window of Wanda MCkinny’s Car pulling her out with Officer Mike Kobick, they evacuate back to the Swat truck. Noticing their operation has been a failure as many Swatt members have been killed, they abort their mission and fall back into a Wal-Mart parking lot. Taking cover behind a van both men cover 1 side and apply necessary fire on approaching undead blowing out brains and shooting off limbs with m4 and m203 grenade launchers, with no other cover the 3 run to shelter in the Wal-Mart at 9:15am. Another one of their comrades, injured swat officer Jared Brown, follows slowly behind them as they provide cover fire so he can make his way into the Wal-Mart doors. 25. Swat Officer Mike Kobick-27, white, rookie swat officer, ex-army rangers, this is his first major emergency swat operation. He hopes to execute a clean mission not knowing what their up against, being informed of riots and un orderly behavior, officers have no clue what’s coming. Exiting the swat van with speed and precision swat members begin evacuating townspeople out of their cars, Officer Dave Granthum and Mike Kobick pull Wanda McKinny out of her car and take her back to the swat truck, within 2 minutes of execution; gunfire is everywhere as chaos ensues. Undead attackers ravage through traffic, the Officers abort mission due to its obvious failure within minutes. They fall back into the Wal-Mart parking lot. Mike is attacked by the undead from his flank as he elbows the zombie with a shocking blow to the side of the head knocking the undead onto its belly. He takes his rifle butt and crushes the zombies skull in the street. Taking cover behind a van, shooting off both sides at approaching undead, they fall back into the Wal-Mart at 9:15am. As they enter, they notice injured swat officer Jared Brown, stumbling in the parking lot behind them. They stay out and provide cover fire for their injured comrade, until he can make in into the building. Shortly after the officer is in 2 others bang on the closing doors and are quickly let in. 26. Swat Officer Jared Brown- 39, white, single father of 2 girls, lives in the suburbs, works in the city, ex-military. Emerging from the swat van with the other officers Jared makes his way up the block approached by the undead without knowledge he orders them to the ground and to stand still, get on your knees. They are without acknowledgment. He fires on them, they take the physical hit then they keep their approach and he resumes fire in full auto. Blasting shells threw zombie skulls until his clips run dry, overwhelmed he pulls his knife as 2 undead roll on him, they attack. He evades and stabs through the neck of 1 undead breaking threw the back of its vertebrae, turns around and slams the other with a fist to the face, catching teeth of the undead stuck into his knuckles. he pulls his side arm and shoots frantically into the skull of the zombie with teeth embedded into his knuckle, while being attacked and bitten from the back. he fires 3 more rounds till he’s out then stumbles to the Wal-Mart parking lot where he is given cover fire by the other 2 officers as undead close in on him until he reaches the doors. At 9:17am. 27. Lupe Vasquez-51, Hispanic, house maid, runs her own business, large family, chubby, pink “paid maid.” Shirt on. black pants. when nervous of frightened she speaks in Spanish incredibly fast. Exiting the Wal-Mart at 9:06am she witnesses multiple people running into Wal-Mart, unaware of what was happening as she sat in her car in the parking lot until a zombie slams onto her window. she exits the car with lighting speed, the zombie pursues her until distracted by other healthy victims to pursue, she makes her way into Wal-Mart doors at 9:09am. 28. Christina Belford-46, white, house mom, skinny, unattractive, annoying, nervous, doing some early morning shopping, while in Wal-Mart she begins to hear the gun shots and explosions of grenades outside, thinking it’s a terrorist attack and almost having a nervous breakdown she hides in the Wal-Mart bathroom stall. 29. Johnny Kelowski(JohnnyKetamine)- 22, white, dope head, skinny, fucked up hair, dropped out of school, pawned everything he had for dope, steals, in and out of jail. Johnny finds himself at Wal-Mart coming down of a couple day dope burn, looks like hell. Dirty. Greasy. Walking aimlessly through the electronics, attempting to pocket some games. Makes his way to the Wal-Mart exit as people rush in from outside and gunfire and explosions erupt, Johnny stands in shock at 9:09am. When the swat officers enter he throws the video games as far as he can over the isles to his right. 30. Josh Colby- 31, white, in a serious relationship, average build, full beard, regular kind of guy, smokes cigarettes, his girlfriend Kortnee wants him to quit. they were stuck in traffic on Crenshaw attempting to make their way to Kortnee’s parents house off Slauson and Shenandoha for the day. the traffic that morning was terrible, as chaos erupted around them with gun shots and explosions. Josh told Kortnee to get out and follow him. they attempt an escape of the vehicle and witness others running into Wal-Mart so they quickly sprint that direction getting to the doors as they are being shut. almost locked out the 2 make it in unhindered. 31. Kortnee Trapnell-26, white, cute, trendy, dark hair, they were stuck in traffic on Crenshaw attempting to make their way to Kortnee’s parents house off Slauson and Shanendoha for the day. The traffic that morning was terrible. As chaos erupted around them with gun shots and explosions, Josh told Kortnee to get out and follow him, they attempt an escape of the vehicle and witness others running into Wal-Mart so they quickly sprint that direction getting to the doors as they are being shut. Almost locked out the 2 make it inside unhindered. Josh Colby, Kortnee Trapnell It’s an Average Sunday inside Wal-Mart. Only a few customers shop around, nice day outside, night shift is leaving for the day and the day shift started about an hour ago. Stanly works the customer service desk with Jaunita. She keeps on with her dirty innuendo. Stanly cracks jokes on her fat ass the whole time, but she is relentless. T-rob is drinking coffee watching over the checkers. Making sure they don’t need anything as he tries to stay awake. Sharmia Jackson is checking The McFarlen Family’s Groceries as she gossips with Georgia. Kevin is stocking produce listening to his ipod, jamming out to with himself clumsily knocking fruit around. Maria Lopez has the 3rd check stand down from Sharmia, checking out Jennifer Blackmore. Chris Munoz stacks some boxes, stocks a couple quick items. Chris makes his way to the back room, waits in the back by the receiving doors, expecting a delivery truck. Killing time playing with his knife, Jose Esquivell mops up in the break room. Taking out the trash, reading his next weeks shity schedule. He heads out a side door to have a smoke. Johnny has been in the store walking around since the night before. Extremely doped out and coming down. He makes his way to the electronics to pocket some merchandise. He executes his plan and goes toward the front exit. Mary Ellis sits in a chair near the exit as the only defense to would be shoplifters. Jonny stops to take a quick look around at employees. At that moment Jack busts in the door running in 20 feet and falling onto the floor. Mary Ellis is the first to speak to him cracking a joke. Jack, Yelling with a southern accent about crazy creatures eating people, is helped to his feet by Stanly and T-rob as they witnessed his entry and came to his aid. as did Jaunita, Sharmia, and Georgia. Soon the customers who were checking out follow them, wondering what the hell is going on. Less then 15 seconds after Jacks entry, BGK and Jermane enter Wal-Mart with weapons pulled running in quickly stopping a few feet in the door. The employees put up their hands like BGK was going rob them. BGK tells them to chill out he’s not robbing anyone there’s some crazy ass shit going on outside. as they explain themselves, gun shots, screams, sirens, and explosions start to rain outside. When they Begin to explain what had hapend Lupe Vasquez runs in and keeps running, hiding on an isle yelling in Spanish. Once they finish telling what they saw Jeff Harwood, Carlos and Antonio enter Wal-Mart out of breath and Jeff scraped up from the crash. Slowly the people make their way closer to the doors to look outside to see the chaos erupting. Swat members firing upon the citizens, and being annihilated by zombie attackers. There are Swarms of people running in all directions. Helpless civilians have to abandon their vehicles attempting to run to safety. Many are taken out before they can find a safe haven. Unlucky victims Have their necks ripped open and windshields smashed by their undead attackers. Employees, customers, and survivors watch for a short moment. After that moment, Wanda McKinney enters screaming in fear, followed by Swat Officer Dave Granthum and Swat Officer Mike Kobick. As the Officers run in, JonnyK takes the games he had in his shirt and throws them as far as he can over the isles to his right. The Swat members start thinking quickly to create an attempt to close and lock off the doors, as they begin they see Swat officer Jared Brown, stumbling quickly toward the doors, emerging and giving their fellow officer cover fire. Sighting and destroying zombie heads, the 2 cover Jared until he reaches the doors. as they close the doors 2 bodys slam on the glass, obviously un infected and screaming open up, Mike opens the doors and lets in Josh and Kortnee. As he quickly slams the doors, Dave yells to mike, to find something to hold this door shut and barricade it. Mike quickly runs the isles for multiple instruments, employees get closing chains and promptly place them on the front doors, Dave yells to have everyone in the store to the front of the building immediately, employees and customers. Dave grabs Stanly and says, I need everyone up here, now. Mike runs the Isles searching for anything to hold the doors shut. He finds some empty shelves and grabs all the metal shelving, he grabs multiple shelves runs to the front drops them on the floor 15 feet in front of the door and runs back down the isles. He orders Kevin to search for tire chains, 6in metal screws, washers, extension cord, and power drill. As Kevin goes to grab a power drill, he first goes for the cordless one ripping it completely out of the package only to put the battery in and try it and its dead. So he grabs a chorded drill and runs back to the front. Stanly Grabs the loud speaker and tells all employees and customers to report to the front. Chris remains out on the back and heard the call and all the gunshots, and is wondering what the fuck is going on out there. A zombie comes stumbling around the corner at the end of the truck ramp, it slowly makes its way down the dock towards the receiving door, Chris stares, and starts yelling at him. Noticing his unresponsiveness and pale undead features the zombie begins to climb the dock into the door. Chris pulls the lever to shut the door and bring the metal sliding doors down slamming onto the zombie, as the zombie came up in, Chris kicked his head back making the doors slam directly on its neck and head severing it. He shuts and locks the receiving doors and bolts the back outer door. Then quickly moves to the front of the store. Mike grabs the item retrieved, throws the male end of the extension chord at Stanley and says find a plug now. Then he points at t-rob and tells him to hold the shelves over the glass of the door, metal to metal with the shelves on either side of the door. Mike begins to screw the metal shelves in across the door horizontally all the way down the length of the door. With many doors to complete, zombies begin to beat on the glass of some of the remaining doors, a small group of 3 undead bang on the glass of the last few doors being worked on. With Dave Standing back covering the entry, Suddenly the glass breaks and the 3 undead pour inside. Dave quickly unloads shotgun shells at close range into undead faces, blowing the brains allover the walls behind them. Mike Finishes the last door while Dave shoots an approaching zombie from reinforcement of the doors until their completion. Mike orders Josh to keep drilling in multiple screws all around all the doors. Chris arrives at the front and Stanley demands, where the hell have you been man. Chris says some crazy fucking thing tried to get up the receiving door, so I smashed that fucker. I locked the R.door, and bolted the back door. Stanley asks him if he’s seen Jose, Chris says no. Jose remains on the side of building. Hearing all the gunshots and commotion, he is squatting down, smoking his cigarette nervously, pouring with anxiety. Jose looks around frantically as he hears people moving and gunshots nearby but no voices. He see’s an undead from the back, unaware of the outbreak, he asks the zombie in Spanish if there ok. The undead stops and slowly turns, to unveil an eaten and tore off face hungry for blood. It makes a hasty attack toward Jose who begins to run back towards the door but is too slow and the zombie topples him. The undead Bite the back of his neck and shoulder fatally. Ripping out chunks of neck, Jose is able to escape the zombies grip only for enough time to make it inside the doors, and lock them behind him. He goes about 10 or 15 feet into the hall and collapses. Where he soon after dies… Christina Belford waits in the bathroom stalls. Scared and deathly nervous, after about 30 minutes she makes her way out of the stalls into the backrooms of Wal-Mart. As she is making her way down stockroom hallways Jose’s undead body appears behind her. As she makes a slow approach into a darker hallway, Christina hears his movement. She stops, and turns around. To notice Jose 5 feet behind her, she screams for a quick moment. Then apologizes and asks if he works here, stuttering. Jose’s undead body remains silent and then quickly attacks forward headbutting Christina Belford to the ground as he pummels her with bites and scratches. Lupe Vasquez slowly makes her way to the front of the store to see what they all plan to do. Swat Officer Granthum asks Stanley if this is all his employees and all the customers. He has no idea. Both swat members agree to do a full scale search of the building to find any lost shoppers and or customers. Noticing BGK and Jermane have weapons he sends each of them down a separate isle. Quickly they all depart in a searching formation, the swat officer’s move quickly checking a much larger area then BGK and Jermane. BGK and Jermane make their way to the back side of the store. now by the back bathrooms they walk cautiously yet loudly as they crack jokes, BGK stops to look at an item on the self. as Jermane keeps walking. Christina Belford’s undead body falls out of double black stockroom doors 10ft. in front of Jermane. Slowly getting to her feet covered in blood. BGK realizes she is a zombie. Quickly she attacks the 2 and they open fire. At that time Jose also makes his way out the doors on an attacking approach toward the 2 men. Shooting frantically, hitting the chest, stomach and arms of the undead assailants only for them too keep their attack strong. Jermane, now out of bullets, is overrun by the zombies getting bitten and beaten. BGK fires until he is empty then quickly retreats back, Leaving Jermane to the will of his attackers. At nearly the same time the Swat officers found themselves on the opposite end of friendly fire, they hide behind shelves momentarily, until able to safely move out and once out open fire open the 2 undead striking them in the head and body of both zombies. They stand in awe of Jermane as he convulses foams at the mouth and dies from the attacker wounds. A 10 second period of silence. And then Jermane quickly reanimates swiping for the feet of the swat officers near by. After the realization that his wounds turned him into another undead, Officer Granthum places a shotgun shell into the head of the floored zombie. It has taken them about 25 min to check all the isles and kill the 2 undead. Dave grabs Jermanes empty pistol, BGK checks his dead friends pocket with a grieving look on his face. Finds a cigarette pack full of joints, he gets a smile. Back in the front of the store, Stanly tries to keep everyone as calm as possible. He takes everyone to the electronics department where they turn on local news stations that cover the horrific events spreading throughout the county and being reported as far as the Nevada state line with no signs of slowing. Helicopter TV coverage shows countless victims brutalized by undead monsters and swat and National Guard forces in horrific fire fights. Jennifer is helping Jeff Harwood with medical supplies off the shelf she had ran and grabbed. Carlos and Antonio talk about what the hell they are going to do now stuck in this place. Sharmia, Georgia, Kortnee and Maria are hysterical with panic. Crying because they know that their families are dead and they will never see them again. Josh remains putting screws into the metal shelving’s across the doors. He added even more shelves and hundreds of screws all over making it almost look comical. In the back of the store, The 2 officers tell BGK to go back to the front with a weapon and stay with the others. He complies. Dave and Mike sweep the back rooms and hallways for any doors to lock, undead to eliminate and supplies to utilize. Back at the electronics section, Swat officer Jared Brown is looking grim. sitting near Jeff H. under the care of Dr. Blackmore. Jared starts to convulse and foam at the mouth, slowly fading out of existence. Jennifer takes his vitals, and says he’s dead. She stands up quickly, upset. and walks off. Jeff H. moves away as he doesn’t want to be next to a dead body. Mary Ellis and Maria Lopez are the next closest. Calming down from there hysterics they turn to look at the dead officer, covering their mouths in disgust. Suddenly Jared’s undead body sits up and quickly springs forward. Grabbing and ripping off a piece of Maria Lopez’s side. Taking her to the ground and began ripping chunks with pit-bull force. the others quickly make their distance from the creature and run down the multiple isles. BGK on his way to the front spots Josh and they both travel to the electronics section. They arrive around the corner just as Jared has attacked Maria and began to feed on her live flesh. BGK pulls his pistol as they run up closer to the attack. He shoots a shot downward into the back of the skull of Jared’s undead body. Maria lay with fatal wounds screaming and bleeding to death. Now aware of the virus’s contagious abilities, they know they need to kill her before she turns into a zombie. BGK stands over her body pistol sight pointed on her face. He nervously holds the trigger. The others yell at him to kill her, Carlos and Antonio are yelling kill that bitch. Slowly and epically the gun slide retracts back as a bullet flies out of the barrel blowing the top off Maria. Sweat drips down BGK’s face with a crazed and dejected look in his eye. Before the commotion, Dave and Mike are returning from the backrooms, noticing the sporting goods section with semi-auto shotguns and scoped rifles and plenty of shells to go with it. Also, wal-mart has enough food/water, survival gear, anti-septicts and medicines to ensure survival for some time. Hearing the gunshots, the 2 officers quickly depart back to the electronics section to find Jared and Maria with there heads shot off and blood pooling around the bodies. They explain what happened to the 2 officers. Mike asks the McFarlen family how their doing, how the kids are doing. The kids are understandably scared and shaken up. Sharmia asks JohnyK if he’s been bitten because he looks like he’s dead. T-rob explains, he went to school with Johnny back in the day, they call him Johnny ketamine, because he’s such a bass head. Dave asks Stanly to take him around the store and show him every entry into the store and all roof access or stairwells. The 2 leave, Mike Stays with the rest of the survivors. They all remain in the electronics section a few isles over from the 2 bodies. They talk about what is to happen now. What to do next. And what exactly are these things attacking them. Mike says are main goal now is only to survive. Mike try’s his radio to contact dispatch. There is no answer. Mike and Stanly travel to the back of the store. Stanly shows him the side doors, locked, the R.doors, shut, the back door, bolted. In the back they notice a trash compactor door in the side of the wall. Dave thinks that wil be useful for disposing the bodies. A lockable trash compactor that falls into a giant dumpster outside. Dave and Stanly return back with a few packs of water, and some more first aid supplies. Carlos and Antonio help Dave and Mike remove the dead bodies from the electronics section and the back of the store using king size sheets to wrap and carry the dead. They toss them down the trash compactor. Dave, Mike, Carlos, and Antonio regroup with everyone else in the electronics section after their detail. They all discuss what should happen and their current situation. For the time being they have electricity and water supply from the faucet. However they can’t be sure how long these supplies will last. Even the food will either be consumed eventually or expire. Dave and Mike quickly realize they cannot stay in this wal-mart forever. It must be temporary and they must find somewhere else to go, other survivors? Military or National Guard blockade? Unsure of their fate, they decide it best to secure themselves for the time being. Giving everyone separate Jobs and tasks to complete. They hope to calculate how long they will be able to survive of off the supplies they can utilize here at wal-mart. Deciding the best thing to do currently is to let each person/family, take 1 cart and fill it with all necessary items, food, toiletries, medical supplies, entertainment. And give each person a set section or isle of wal-mart for their personal use. They set up fire watches throughout the night. Each person takes a turn of 6 hours. Excited that they get to shop for free, the survivors walk down to grab carts. Jack Howes heads straight for the beer section. Grabbing three 30 packs of coors light, and slamming them into his cart. Walking on to grab the essentials, foods, toiletries, stops in and grabs a flat screen, dvd player, and some extension cords. Jack sets up shop in the back break room. He throws his beer in the fridge with a 30 pack on the table he starts drinking. Dave and Mike set up in the security office. bringing in flat screens and essentials, also gathering all the rifles and shotguns along with all the ammo an necessary equipment holsters, straps, and scopes. The security cameras still work as long as the power remains on and generators remain running. The McFarlen family walks down the isles, talking, shocked about their current situation. Susan begans to tell her husband how scarred, stressed and nervous she is for the safety of the kids. He tries to explain how they’ll be ok. Its safe inside, and they’ll be rescued soon. She gullibly believes him. They gather essential goods and toys for the kids. They end up back in a corner of the electronics section. Set up with some camping gear for chairs etc. the kids stand and play the ps3 in the games section. Carlos and Antonio both grab carts, loading them with chips, snacks, beer, liquor, they grab flat screens, video games, dvd players, movies, toiletries, and they post up in the television section. Carlos brings over chairs and tables along with bedding and pillows. Stanly, Georgia, and Jaunita all take carts as they talk. Wondering what’s going to happen, and what has happened to their families. They shop for basics, essentials. Georgia hits up the hair care supplies. They take a spot in the movies section, near the electronics. Jeff Harwood and Dr. Blackmore shop the isles together. Going through medical supplies, Jennifer notices the pharmacy is completely locked up. Jeff is in need of antibiotics for his wounds so they don’t get infected, and possibly a painkiller. They take what they can from the over the counter products, then continue shopping for regular essential items. Then sit at the opposite side of the electronics from the McFarlen Family. BGK, Kevin, Chris Munoz, and t-rob all get to talking, they grab carts and starts grabbing items off the shelf. BGK pulls out a joint, Kevin, t-rob, and Chris, with a stunned but excitedly happy look on their faces ask where the hell he got that. he told them how he pulled it off his homeboy. They shop and smoke a couple joints and try to make sense of their situation. They walk the isles Grabbing junk food that doesn’t have to be cooked, chips and snacks. Beer and liquor. They grab multiple electronics items, TV’s video games; they set up in the paints section. Lupe and Mary Shop together. Just behind Stanly and the rest. They grab basic foods, clothing, entertainment and lighting objects. Josh and Kortnee take a cart up and down the isles grabbing multiple food items, waters, first aid supplies. Josh grabs a tv as he see’s everyone else grabbing them. he also grabs a laptop from the computer section. Josh makes his way over the hunting supplies section as he knows Wal-Mart has carried shotguns. He finds all the guns and ammo missing. He doesn’t know why. He grabs various hunting supplies and gear. Josh and Kortnee settle in the men’s clothing section. Moving racks of clothes out of the way almost making a wall, they bring in bedding and their food and supplies. Johnny K shops by himself as he gathers food. On the loud speaker Dave asks everyone to meet at the electronics. As everyone arrives, the counter is sprawled with various shotguns, rifles, and boxes of ammunition. Dave begins speaking. Every adult is to pick out 1 weapon for safety. Jack grabs a scoped rifle just like the one he has at home. Ready to put a bullet through some undead skulls, Mr. McFarlen grabs a semi-auto shotgun, and a box of buck shot shells. As does Stanly, Josh, Carlos, Antonio, Mary, Chris, Jeff, Dr. Blackmore, T-rob and Kevin. Dave gives Jermanes pistol to BGK. He loads it up and gives it too Juanita Williams. He shows her how to shoot it and wishes her luck. Lupe and Kortnee both say that they don’t like guns. Johnny K goes up to grab a weapon; Mike stops him before he gets one. He doesn’t think that this dope head is responsible enough to keep a weapon without hurting himself or someone else. Angered by that decision Johnny walks off. Dave agrees with Mike’s decision. Dr. Blackmore brings Jeff Harwood’s situation to the attention of the Officers. He is in need of pharmaceuticals but the pharmacy is locked. Dr. Blackmore asks Stanley for the pharmacy keys. But he refuses. Dave believes best to escort her in and out to keep the abuse able drugs safe. Only to be used for emergency. Johnny silently listens to the conversation between the 3 with a strange look in his eye. The doctor and Stanley make their way down the isles to the pharmacy. They enter the pharmacy and Dr. Blackmore quickly thumbs through the shelves of medication. She grabs anti-biotic and some controlled pain medications. She looks around for any other things that might be useful. She finds a first aid kit and grabs some anti anxiety medication for the ones who are extremely distraught. The 2 make their way back to their selected areas. Dr. Blackmore tends to Jeff H. and gives him his medication and explains how he is to use it. The survivors set up a fire watch, 6 hours each. That way 1 person isn’t up all night and get so tired they fall asleep on the job. It insures some safety for the time being. They prepare for their 1st night inside their concrete penitentiary.
