in a world overrun by the walking dead, and the population of the living dwindling, any reasonable survivor must agree that the likeliness of killing off each and every one of the infected is nearly impossible.this is where my proposition comes in-i have been studying the work of a russian scientist by the name of Ivan Pavlov, perhaps you've heard of him?He is most noted for his work of the nervous system and its response to stimuli.he had trained dogs to respond to certian stimuli, such as a bell.when they heard the bell, they knew food was coming,so their mouths would being to water. i believe the same principal can be applied to the 'undead'. though they are essentially dead, they still respond to basic stimuli as you and i [and even Pavlov's Dogs. . .] would...if we can train them, domesticate them, to ignor that stimuli that causes them to attack, with the purpose to feed, [seeing as they have no real need for sustenence. . .] we can therefore eliminate the threat that they cause, thus making it considerably easier to dispose of them safely.

I have to adgree there is not enuf ammunition in the world to kill them all.....I would do what I can and play bodyguard to you if an outbreak of apocalyptic propositions happens. if your research help then I'll help you...stay alive.
What sort of fighting skills do you have?
I was trained with firearms from the age of 7 by friends and family that are mostly army, army special forces, USMC. I all so been learning to fight with sword( not fencing the real thing), and I spent the last 5 years studying zombie defense.
Not bad, how many years you spent on sword training?
3 years european, 2 years japanese. I started both at the same time and dropped the other one last year.
At the very least if domestication doesn't work we will in theory have an area where we can control them and attempt to study other solutions IE chemical weapons or any other ideas that come to mind.
I have no real thought as to why would try and capture a zombie that wants to infect you and eat you you put yourself at more risk than you would trying to kill them all
i see your concern v.v;;; but i honestly believe that i personally would not be able to do either on my own..im not physically able to do such a thing...this is the reason why i started this thread in the first place.to hopefully get some support and maybe even some assistance in this matter.im sure i could find some willing participants to aid me in capturing subjects.as mentioned before, its nearly impossible to kill them ALL. . .and i beg to differ when you say trying to kill them all by myself is less of a hazard...yes,i would require to kill them if need be,but honestly, trying to kill them ALL would be less of a risk???oO uhm.good luck with that.while you're busy getting surrounded and overwhelmed outside,i'll be indoors studying just a few of these things in a safe environment.you're welcome to join anytime [lol just saying ^^;;;] xP
I would be more than happy to capture them for you, if you'd find a way(using science i guess) how to destroy them most effectively. The only thing is that i live in Europe. It would be hard for me to get to USA during the outbreak. Well maybe with all the shit that Russia is causing now ill need to get out to united states far earlier than outbreak occurs.
well i see what you mean killing 304,840,000 infected is gonna be tough so i guess ill help you out with the captureing and transport i do have experiance with the transport of infected and the capture of em too so i guess you can count on me
hey,if you guys are interested, you both might want to check out my outbreak "Like Pavlov's Dogs. . ." theres a similar discussion there that may answer any questions you have.your support is greatly appreciated =]
At some point, once all the people who were either dumb, slow or just plain ol' unlucky enough to get themselves et are gone, the Zeds, which don't reproduce, will probably "die" out after a time (or at least rot into motionless piles of biomatter). The real trick will be for those of us living to keep from killing each other, keep from getting killed, and properly dispose of our own dead. If we can maintain that balance (and I believe we can), it's just a matter of waiting.

I'd rather wait it out than take a chance at wiping out an entire colony of survivors by trying to domesticate a zombie.
