Choose your own adventure!!! :O
Tell Carl what he should do! You can make him escape, get beat up, or whatever. Just no making him use items he dosent possess (If he finds one he can use it), using super powers he dosent have, or anything that he cant do.
I will use the first suggestion posted. Just tell him what to do and I'll draw it.

The man in the back of the helicopter notices it going down and runs to strap on a parachute but, Carl if that be his real name, wrestles for the parachute. Carl is about to win, bu the man pulls out a metal stick and they begin to stick fight to the death.

They're both too late. The helicopter crashes and it is engulfed in flames.

Carl kills the man and starts peeing on his dead body. wait, he forgot that his pee is flammable!!!
Something very lucky happens to him at that point, though... THE FIRE GOES OUT!!!
And then he looks to see if the dead guy's stick is better than his.
