First off welcome to lost zombies.Second yes someone has posted this already.And last the safest place to me is the cemetary.Normal zombies don't have supernatural strength so even if the virus was to get into the air tight coffin then the zombies would still be unable to get out.

An old nuke silo they are out of the way and built for the end of the world. Stock it up and there you go.

there is no safe place... one place may have easy access to food, but how defensible is it... one place may be an impeneratible fortress, but how are you going to keep yourself fed... in either places how are you going to get drinkable water without a functioning civic infastructure...

my tentative tactic is to get as far away from civilization as I can and rough it for a few mos and make my way back to try to find survivors...but that has holes in it as well

there is no safe place...only safer
