If your spouse/significant other had a serious medical condition and needed constant medical supplies and there was a zombie outbreak what would you do?
My wife and I have had this conversation before. She is diabetic and is on at home dialysis. Her medical supplies include insulin, 4 different kinds of blood pressure pills and dialysis solution that isn't found in drug stores. She told if there was to be an outbreak, put the kids in the car, come back in to the house and put a bullet in her head.
I want to hear your feelings on this question.

depends where you are i suppose, if you are near like for example, the UN building in newyork, it has huge stocks of every drug ever made and is a good place for defence

if you are out in the middle of nowhere then depends how long you can live/the quality of life it/how much pain there will be

you have to think of the outbreak as natures way of cleaning up the human species, people with serious illnesses/overweight people/people who mentally or physically cant cope will be gone from the gene pool

survival of the fittest at its harshest

for me, if it was a member of my family then you have to respect their wishes, the kindest gift you can give to a dying pet is to put it to sleep so i dont see why it cant apply to humans
i agree
I personally would feel very sad. Id try to get the neceserry medicine at any cost, but if there would be no hope, ill let them choose - either die by my hand fast, or i stay with them till grim reaper takes them for the last ride on the midnight train...
I'll try to fortify the place, and try to find medical supplies. No way I'd leave my significant other to die.
Honestly that would be the best thing for that situation. She would be unable to keep up in a situation that requires swiftly bugging out. The constant search for medication would be dangerous.
Very good point. I've been worring about keeping up with the treatment but I didn't stop to think about the maintance of the peritoneal cathater or what if it needs replaced or repaired. I mean, it's not like you can just cut a garden hose and patch the thing.

BTW: me and the misses reached an agreement about this. IF its a class three outbreak or higher, take her out. Class three - four would be survival of the fittest, anything less and we would be able to hold out untill its over.
