Lets here em!

okay so if I get rich or win the lottery or come into a lot of money somehow I'm going to build a fucking zombie fortress...here is a picture of my design!

but the chances of me coming into enough money to build said fortress are remote soooo.....

In my house there is a shitload of watercartons and canned food up in our rafters(my Dad was one of those y2k nut cases hahaha) theres enough water and food to last a group of people a few days without heavy rationing.that would take care of the immediate issues.
a couple weeks ago I put together my first zombie emergency pack so when shit goes down I can just grab my backpack and be good to go.it's best not to pack heavy of course but basically it consists of a first aid kit with hand sanitizer, bandages, scissors, aspirin, oral jell, ice packs etc. then of course flashlight, extra batteries, swiss army knife, latrine shovel, waterproof matches and whatever else comes to mind on the spot.
the main idea is to get to a harbor(theres a shit-ton like 30 miles south of my area) and get to a house boat and possibly steal a jet ski or two to go back and forth to get supplies when needed.
I plan on buying a house boat one day but if it comes down to it...Ill steal one.
eventually we could get a community of house boats..
tah dah.
survival plan A

haven't come up with B-Z yet but it will happen..

I'm thinking i'd make a moat...but instead filled with water, it'd be filled with spikes. Get off of those, ya fucking zombies.
I like that idea, the bad thing is...what happens if those bastards can swim..or if they don't necessarily breath can walk underwater and say climb up your anchor if one is down...it could be anything..the bitch would be if one some how managed to sneak on board and you didn't know...that would suck ass.
my damn apartment has concrete stairs so i have to blow em with explosives to keep them from coming up. my house is well stocked with water, high protein foods and vitamins that'll last a week at least for my team. hopefully my neighbors can care for themselves and have some basic armament. when it comes time to run, i live next to a pharmacy which i'd raid for stronger medicine than what we've gathered and surgical kits. M. (one of my members) would pack that and we'd head for the armory we live near. if its accessible, we'd hole up there for the time being and see if we could get some army supplies (stoves, generators, extra ammo and weapons we could pack in the truck). we'd hit the library for any remaining books we hadn't already obtained (medical, agricultural, construction, machine repair). we'd make a run for the airstrip and commandeer a plane. off we go to yosemite or the andes (depending on the severity of the outbreak)

plan b involves packing just the travel bag and making a run for the redwoods to the north of us. my family owns a cabin near a river in the mountains which would be quite empty. we've studied the land between here and there and have already planned most of the route there. it is about an hour and a half from a good sized city (115,000) it might be overrun, but it is a good backup and if nothing else is a good place to rest on our way to more remote lands.
I like the team cohesion youve got goin Hadrian. How many men strong are you. Do you really not expect any survivors? Anyway, that's your own business, I just want to say please stay away from the bases. Armory MIGHT be ok, but im not gonna push the idea of it. Im afraid of dissident military factions already holing up in there, ready to kill anyone that comes near. The human element is the worst in a zombie apocalypse.
Here's some materials to help develop plans: http://www.georgia-outfitters.com/_alice/alicemanual.htm This should be the ALICE Pack manual, the type issued to U.S. military for some time. These were widely available surplus and decommisioned for a long time, and so are pretty common in civilian districts, but are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire for purchase due to an rise in survival preparedness. I widely suggest these or newer military systems (M.O.L.L.E.) for use in packing gear, and an attached daypack with bare essentials that can be quickly removed for increased mobility. Also, a G.I. style pistol web belt with a buttpack, canteen cover, M-16 or SAW pouch modded for quick draw equipment, and a large hunting knife should be worn for sustainability and mobility. http://campingsurvival.com/ This place has almost everything you need in one location, at reasonable prices. http://csarmysurplus.com/acu.htm This one has various other new military packs, pouches, and equipment. More to come.

This is a list of gear and equipment for survival in a wilderness environment over long periods. It is quit comprehensive. The following is the whole database of packing lists it was retrieved from: http://www.survival-center.com/dl-list/dl1-toc.htm#Top Here is something I found for a guide on packing an ALICE Pack: Copyright Packmasters

Sorry, couldn't find the link, so I just plastered the whole thing. I hope this helps someone with putting together a quality survival kit, and maybe even a slayer's kit.
well my house has a baement and stuff so i dont garruntie on surviving but with my gun skillz and technekes no zombie can excape me BUT... if there is a break in on the sides off out windows we must go outside and face of becuase ilaugh in the face of death
This is a Jungle Hammock. this is my idea for getting some sleep on the trail without worrying about the undead. Yeah, this one is low to the ground, and finding somewhere high enough to lodge it every night might be difficult, but it's my working idea for a foot-soldier based slayer unit. At least with the netting, you can't roll out of it at night. Make sure to use some good rope and 550 para cord to suspend it.
true true ture
wwell to be honest you should make sure that every thuing is naild shut lol just saying
When preparing for the outbreak, it doesn't hurt to consider alternative disasters we may be facing. It could be natural disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes (big around here), floods, tsunamis, volcanoes, blizzards, or even space debris. It could be human elements such as World War, Foreign Invasion, Biological, Chemical and/or Nuclear Assault, Public Unrest, or MARTIAL LAW. Lord forbid, it could be monstrous in nature, but worse than zombies, like vampires, werewolves, aliens, robots, demons, or spirits. One of my unit members is quoted to say "You better fuckin hope its zombies, cause if its anything else, we dont have a fuckin chance." He's right, despite the astronomical damage done by the infection, it would probably have the highest survivability rate, and would hopefully bring a 3rd person element to the tensions in the world that would level the playing field and help unite mankind.
