if there is any question if it is a bite or not, put him in a locked room, with a repe saw around his neck. secure the free end of the saw to the floor.
If he turns, his mindless atempts to get free will cut off his head.

keep him around a while. see what he knows, if he is lucid. anything. any tips or known supply locations.

then let him know what has to be done.

if he's not lucid, well, you may just need to kill him.
