Ha! In this day of outrageous gas prices? If there was anyone left alive to take your money? Forget about driving anything with a gas tank. Even if you stole the gas, how far would you get in a densely populated metropolis?
Bikes might work, but their chains aren't reliable enough to save my life.
So, I would have to say walking would be the safest and most reliable.
If you die, you'd have nothing or nobody to blame, but yourself.
Of course, if the dead are faster than the living, well then.....................
in the duration of being infected and being reanimated the brain is constantly attacked by the virus until most motor skills are completely shut down reanimation occurs and some functions are impaired, like walking and basic balance techniques
rollarblades are loud on hard uneven pavement and aren't recommended for quick starts
if you were placed in the crisis of your camp being overrun by zombies in the middle of the night their could be a veriety of problems:
one... its dark and easy to trip trying to roll around in a crowded and dangerous area
two... if camped in grass how do you take off when rollerblades take at least 3 to 5 seconds to build enough momentum up (even if your carrying them they are bulky and quite cumbersome in the long run)
and three... it takes a long time to put on rollarblades even if rushing and can lead to foot and ankle problems if used excessively
so bottem line rollarblades may seem like a good idea but they're no better than something else you'd throw at your zombified intruder in a suprising senario
