IS THERE ANYTHING THAT HASN'T BROUGHT THE DEAD BACK TO LIFE?

Being an avid zombie fan (no pun intended) and an aspiring writer, I've been racking my brain (or what's left of it) on creating a new zombie novel, but everything and anything has been thought of:
Virus's (naturally), acid rain, meteor's, laboratories, and, oh yeah, we can't forget the government.
Is there anyone out there that has thought of something I haven't thought of?

You kids should realize that zombies do not go through the normal processes of DEATH. Being a zombie is more like an alt. death with skin rot like Leprosy. Note the zombies in Day of the Dead, their faces are disfigured by decay, but their guts and bright red, they should be black goo seeping out of them or be filled with gas that tears their bellies as it escapes --- they should be bloated (lips and unmentionables) because of the bacteria not being kept in check. All this grossness. But no. They are a very stylized undead.

Movies are a stylization of what can occur (mainly the gross amount of sales the movie generates) and believe me, I'd rather face the movie versions of the undead, then their actual, bloated, decaying, Leprosy ridden counterparts.
Besides, in movies, nobody ever complains about the smell or stench eminating off them.
What about Gorify's makeup kits turning people into real zombies?
Well my Z-Amoeba would actually cause a leprosy like decay
Root Canals!!!

I have a short story called "Dead Nerve" where the medicament called "formocresol" kills the patient and then brings her back to undead life. So you can count Dentists as a cause too!
Wow, :O
Another reason for the little kids to be afraid of their dentists.

My most easily explainable virus is the Rage from 28 days/weeks. It basically puts people in a very advanced stage of adrenaline. When you have adrenalin pumping through you, less blood is sent to your brain, and more to your muscles. You act on impulse more, and you are faster, stronger, etc. In an advanced stage, even less blood is sent to the brain and even more to the muscles. (Causing infected to lose most human traits and be so fast.)
As for them being so pissed off all the time, I don't really know. But my guess would be because of acting on impulse. What's the easiest impulse to act on? Usually anger. You see people going into fits of rage on other people all the time. Maybe this could be why?

Thats the best explanation I have of a zombie(ish) virus. It's been done though.
