Okay, my question is this. You know how Zeds are always after our brains? Well why is that every Zed you see in films, or through the scope of a deer rifle, is eating the FLESH of it's way to unfortunately slow victim? Also, since all these victims are being eating down to the bone or tore to bits, where are the new Zeds coming from? It seems to me, with the exception for those that are able to break free after a bite and get away, that the only way a person becomes a Zed is if the Zed says, "Hmm, I'll think I'll just nibble on this guy a little bit and then let him go.". (Or the dude behind the scope of the deer rifle knew what he was doing.) Please, feel free to elaborate but remember, this ain't rocket science y'all, it's just Zeds.

well, zombies DON'T just eat brains. They DO eat the flesh of humans as well, so question one answered.

In the first stages of the outbreak, when a zombie is in the process of eating a human, it could possibly be distracted by another human either just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or doing something stupid towards said zombie, like throwing rocks at it or punching it in the side or something idiotic that people do.
It's also likely that a lot of people manage to get away from a zombie, but with a bite, so they just turn later, in one piece.
Research has shown that zombies will only eat warm flesh; when the body goes cold they leave it and move on in search for new victims.

It is also the reason why they do not eat each other.
...and you answered the next question. Thats sounds reasonable.
I try!
