yes it was a good book i agree and disagree with some of it
I disagree where it states that all zombies have slow relfexes and no ability to run.
They were human once and still have all of the same abilities.
Just no real ability to think as there brain function is close to none.
Megan, I think you need to spend some time reading the very long topics that have been discussed. You might just begin to understand the reality of the Zombie. There are physics and medical rules that just cannot be disobeyed because it would be cool.

Read a little on the symptom called rigormortis. That one's a doosy...
"People who stop to question what exactly a runner is, will usually get bitten by one." - You

"To be part of the living dead, you have to be dead." - also you.

"Read a little on the symptom called rigormortis. That one's a doosy..." - you again.

Explain the existence of runners and their ability to move quickly then please....
Ok you may be right in definition. However if you're talking about a person who is infected and turns while still alive, due to infection by the same re-animating virus, then the distinction between runners and zombies is the lack of death prior to the change. If this is the only difference then I'm inclined to just call them all zombies, or infected because it's the same virus just manifesting itself differently.

Each to their own theory though.
Stop using the phrase "neo-zombie" without giving me credit for coming up with it.
Applause....Applause.... People cheering with a standing ovation !
You go grrl !
I never said that they would always be fast/posses the ability to run.
Starting out though, most won't be slowly shuffling, especially considering that a majority of newly turned zombies were turned while living and died due to the bite.
Granted they will slow down due to decomposition, not all will be slow.
Fast zombies are highly logical.
RIGGGAAAMORTTTTIISSSS-makes for a slow shambler, blood spots, bruises and a frozen like appearance!
Yeah, it's a good starter book. I was talking to a friend about zombie fiction earlier today and decided to make up a list of the very best that I have read:

Click that ^^^^^ and you will see my list.
That is a nice list.
