Hi y'all. Just here to introduce myself. I'm a country boy from Texas and am now a Fleet Marine Force Corpsman with 2nd Marines in North Carolina. The Zed huntin' here is way different than back home. Texas is more wide open giving you more of an opportunity to whack a Zed from and extreme distance, hence the reason you should own a scoped deer rifle. Here, where the land is thickly wooded, you're gonna have a few Zeds on you all at once fast quick and in a hurry, hence the reason you should have a shottie or a semi-auto weapon of some sort (short and as light weight as possible is best). The huntin' here's fine. So, if you have any questions please, feel free to ask. Advice is free, but a found box of bullets is priceless!
