Ok, it's the end of the world... the IS no running water, no power, no government aid, no groceries at the store, and all the malls are closed...
How far are you willing to go to survive. are you capable of doing the horrific things you need to do to survive..could you kill for food, would you eat a dog, kill a child?
These are the things you WILL face, be honest...do you really think our ideals will last past a day, a week, a year?
oh, bonus points if you can guess the Day of the Dead referance :-)

Ahh yes, that is from Day of the Dead....Where is my cookie?
Survival. The human spirit can do a lot of crazy things when it is forced to. Personally when the shit hits the fan I am making my way to the castle nearby with my bag of long term stuff. I'm shutting the gates and as far as I am concerned humanity is gone.
I guess it also depends where you are when the bad stuff starts. If you are in a city then you are probably going to have to do a lot worse stuff to get out/survive.
Me-I have a couple hundred fine Cubans and a case of 1951 Glen Livet. The castle has a restaurant so food wise i will be fine for a few months until I need to plant veggies after winter finishes.
I would be doing that right now if I could. With the state of the world right now, humanity doesn't deserve to exist.
In cities, unless you get out fast, I'm pretty sure nasty stuff will have to be done. If you do it depends on how much you want to survive. No one knows the answer to that until they know their own situation.
Personally, I will sit back and toast to the end of the disease of humans with a smile on my face, and will do pretty much anything to do that.
i already hunt so killing animals is not a problem..but i would not eat a dog or kill someone who is not a danger to me.permalast for the killing of children, but if its bad enough i might eat a dog.
Anything it takes to save others first, ive tried offing myself in the past before all of this happened.....it didn't work the way i see it is, i was meant to be here, so I'm going to do whatever it takes to save as many people as possible.....
Well... being that I will have running water (on my own land via photovoltaic energy), be growing my own crops, and raising my own livestock... I would have to say that anyone... zombie or human... that trespasses will be just another body for the burn pile.
Burnpile......think about that for a second, if you burn the zombies dont you think the ash and fumes would be burned infected flesh? kinda like when you burn poisen ivy.......You Dont!
whats worse a hoard of zombies or a hoard of living ppl who dont know how to hunt or fish or have shelter? its not zombies im worried about its the useless ass ppl out there that think if mcdonalds shut down there going to starve.

lol you can always break into mcdonalds!
With the amount of tinned food around nowadays and how food is stored due to long transit times from the point of origin, I would think that there will be more then enough food to initially go around the survivors.
Libraries are going to be invaluable, that's for sure.
during the first few days of the outbreak ppl are going to make a mad dash to grocery stores, gas stations, fast food chains, retail stores there inventory will be wiped out quickand who would want to lug around 50lbs of canned green beans while running from zombies.
I've been in hunting for some time now, so i can kill animals for food(i'd need a pro guter for something like deer or elk, cuz...well to be honest, never did guting on anything biger than a trout). To eat a dog? In extreme case - maybe but only if its not my dog.
To eat a child? Not in any way. I'd better die starving.
