Permalink Reply by Richard G Corder on July 16, 2012 at 4:37am Depends on how the zombie came to be. a corpse rising from the dead, no slow moving unless blood consumption (As explained below) would help re-mobilizing the flesh buy constant movement causing the blood to work it's way, "refreshing" the limbs. But lets say... mutated rabies virus that would effect humans as it would a canine Now you have a Real, and probable virus that causes humans to become ravenous and violent, even cannibalistic, not unlike animals with the normal rabies virus. Now lets add in the fact that they are blood drinkers and flesh eaters which contain blood. Keeping up? Now remember blood is protein. Protein is what body builders use to bulk muscles. Given it's a rabies virus, and the infected would be moving, not dead flesh just a virus infected human, running for food. Moving the muscles in it's legs. The added protein would of course increase the leg strength allowing for a much faster zombie. Also to comment about the guy at "Best Buy" Surviving. It's possible. Given the fact that he sells TV's, so he likes them and movies. So he would see a lot of Horror flicks, and there are more zombie movies per horror as any other except slasher. So, theoretically, this person would have a better chanse as survival than a Olympic Runner. Adrenaline is a marvelous thing
