Of course, everyone thinks Z films to not have anything taken away, but there are certain things that cause a film to get away from the true essence of the zombie.

One thing I think should be taken out is the 'Play-doh Effect' in which Zombies can easily tear a victim limb from limb and rip them open like a paper bag.

the best is when someone with no firearms training is just walking through and is hitting undead guys in the face!. one other thing is where they get their weapons, ive seen some horror movies that takes place in a small town and they've got military grade hardware. where the hell does this movie take place? waco?. and zombies dont weild weapons, thats a writer sneaking in at three in the morning to write some stupid crap that popped into his head earlier that day. if i see a zombie with a gun and he's using it, im done, i wont watch another horror movie.
Yeah, I hated land of the dead for that. Zombies are decaying lumps of flesh, why would they get smarter over time?
like in Dawn of the Dead (remake) the TV salesman, former Marine/Cop, Rent-a-cop(s), redneck, and typical horror movie black guy all score head shots on moving targets nearly every time?
Yeah, I agree.....It is pretty hard to hit a moving target unless your very close.
There are some good marksment out there that could do that, but they are trained, However, it really isn't that hard to get a headshot on a stationary target, even at a good distance down range.

But, that isn't what I was going to say.......This is what I was going to say......I hate, absolutely hate, any movie that involves a scene where the bad guy(s).....The undead........will begin some form of a chase with the main characters and no matter what they get caught.

Not just Z-films are like this........pretty much all Friday the 13th movies are like that.
I agree with J.M. on the whole headshot thing. Most of the actors in the Dawn remake were just ordinary people, and all of a sudden they can pick up a gun and get precise headshots. Now that's just ridiculous!
on the z movies u dont hear the bones but on some games like stubbs the zombie u hear the head snap of of the spine or the arm snapped of of the shoulder so that means the games are closer to the real deal then the movies i no that u can do wat ever u want on the games when u are creating them but the movie is almost real life so they should have limbs snaping off of the bones so i completly agree with brigitta M.
two small things annoy me about animals in Z movies

1) i hate when zombies dont attack animals... at all... it annoys me that they're all strictly cannibals! a zombie wants flesh! any flesh! it bugged me in DotD when they sent the dog to the sniper and the zombies didn't care.

2) when animals do get infected, they're 100x more dangerous then humans. i mean a decomposing dog would be just as messed up and slow as a human. also they seem smarter then human zombies. they'll stalk their pray like a living predator rather then rushing them like a human zombie. a dog should hobble at prey, as cat should shamble at it's pray and a bird would likely roll at it's.
hey i wanted to know can i combied evil dead with zombies i want zombies that can talk but in a evil dead way with a creepy viceo
it only goes for humans not animals.
i hate when corpses rise from their grave.
in my logic, there's no way they could get infected to begin with.
Plus the fact that they are under 6 feet of soil.
im tired of the zombies mutating into rediculous things i understand that a zombie virus could possibly mutate but what is this nonsense with dogs heads splitting down the middle (re4) or things of this nature
U r so rite about the play doh effect, it's cool but still makes u got wtc?
Somewhat I find fast zombies annoying to, it's like there pro athletes with cheeta blood and steroids injected in them, plus aren't some zombies rotted old flesh bags? Sure b funny if some zombie is running and at the same time there body parts are limbs r flying an breaking off, by the time they get to there victim they'll just b a bloody torso :P
