I have been pondering this what would happen if a mosquito bite a zombie and then bite you. You would in theroy become a zombie right?

Mosquitos don't have much of a life span, so evolution of their species can happen a hell of a lot faster than say with us. So if one managed to develop some kind of natural immunity to the virus or at least some way of it not dying by coming into contact with it, then I suppose it's a possibility.

A pretty scary possibility!
Mosquitos attack only warm or sweaty objects(those with blood circulation) as far as i know. So i dont think mosquitos would bite zeds. Although if they would then they either die or carry the infection thus spreading it if biting another (living) person during its short lifespan.
I think it's a sound theory. At the very least, it seems logical to take precautions.
I would have to say "no" on insect bites. But I think if a animal was eating on a zombie, there might be the risk from the animal bite.
interesting question but than what matt said can bring us to another topic would animales or crows be carriers to the infection/virus what ever it would be
According "the manual" (The Zombie Survival guide p.4 section 4) non-human hosts die within hours of infection vs. humans can last 3-5 years (until body breakdown). Also, test showed parasitic insects (MO'ski'TOES!) rejected the infected host 100% of the time. ;)
