All right, now think carefully and realistically, Pick your CC weapon, no bullshit, something you can actually get your hands on.

my swords of course. both one solid piece, no pieces to loosen or break. both laser sharpened and happy. one of short length for parrying and the other of medium length. no bull there, just happiness. :)
Parry? Zombies don't fence. Close though.
don't have to fence to parry off an attack, but thanx.
Not trying to disrespect you, I interpreted your implication as an armed close combat concept that had'nt been thought through, if you follow me.
it's cool, i know how to use my blades and was just letting you know that parry is a defense term. you can do it with any object. i think everything through as much as possible. my brains will save me from zombies just as much as my blades.
Indeed time will tell for us all, but when someone says parry it implies deflecting a blade, and is usually used in fencing, more than other sword styles.
You parry in ALL sword styles. you can also parry blows from staffs and other blunt weapons.
Yes, I know this, but its generally a fencing term, as you do more of it in fencing than any other sword style.
A parry is just a block. You do it in all sword style or you bleed.

What you're saying is that you only reload with pistols because generally you reload more with pistols than with any other gun.....
Hahahaha, I see your point, but were arguing term use, not method as was my intention. I'm saying you don't really need to parry a zombie, in the same ways you parry a weapon.
Parrying is just a defensive term for bladed combat which describes deflecting a blow of any sort...including those of pawing, grabbing zombies.

So yes you would "parry" zombies
you can also parry a grabbing arm off...
