All right, now think carefully and realistically, Pick your CC weapon, no bullshit, something you can actually get your hands on.

I have a good solid oak dining table, it makes a great mace type weapon a little bit stouter than a baseball bat. run around the narrow end with some friction tape. 4 good blunt force weapons easily gotten.
I would suggest something with a little force behind it such as an aluminum bat but after about 20 solid head busting swings you would be tired and winded, that arm blade however has just become my new best friend.

Some really interesting suggestions here! Me likey!
im really liking the cold steel two handed machete, good reach, sharp blade
hmmm My full tang katana , or my halberd , guess it would matter what mood i was in .
Im going to have to go with Papatoad on this one,
my tomahawks. i can usually hit a rabbit at about 4-6 meters.
im sure with practice i could get better.
now that I think about it, my 1990 Volvo 240 wagon winter beater, that would run some shit down
AR-15. armor-light model. i keep it under my bed, no joke, for home self defense i rely on 2.23 & 9mm

Take your pick. I'd probably not use the bat or the homemade daab, since I don't trust bludgeons, but blades are where I'm at home. The Kukri is a Cold steel kukri machete, the knife is a CRKT First Strike, the other two are some chinese stamped metal swords. They do the job.
Considering the question is what Close combat weapon would you take...
I don't think i'll mention guns... can't get any any way.

Being a reenactor i would take my Billhook (Polearm variant not gardening machete.)
My norse battle axe untill i can find a solid wood cutting axe.
And my dagger... no guns. the ammo takes up too much food and water space.
Wrecking Bar! My Dad works in digging trenches and Wrecking Bars are useful for solid ground so i have access to it.
Wrecking Bar's, sometimes called Crowbar's here in Australia, with the typical American Crowbar being called a Prying Bar, are long, pointy and solid Iron.

Although not light, the length means that you could dispatch several zombies if backed against a wall, and has a variety of uses, including spearing through temples and eyes, and smashing heads. Also, it can be used for wrecking things, such as locked doors and other obstacles.

its a knife that shoots super cold nitrogen gas into a wound i forget how much but its equivalent to a basketball.
I ordered the catalog today. At 399.95 i should be able to get it within the next 4 or 5 paychecks.
SOOPA EXCITED

And Of course my Tomahawk, i cant leave that boy out.
