Yeah, thats true - im not sure what the range difference is, must be quite large. I think the pluses outway the minuses though.

What are the pluses besides the fact that it's quiet? Repeat shots are slow, the range is not that great and it isn't the most accurate tool at it's longest range. You can only "dial" it in so much. The accuracy of a crossbow or most bows is most effective within about 30 yards. Beyond that you don't have the velocity to keep the projectile flat on target and the drop is considerable. You'd have to compensate too much to adjust for a head shot and the odds of making it over a distance wouldn't be good. Yeah, they are a great short distance weapon when you don't have multiple targets but as for taking out even a minimal amount of targets or for accuracy at a distance you're better off with a gun of some type.

I can aslo get to my .22 Walter PPK, And of course my .45 calibur pistol (I always forget the name). They are downstairs in my bedrom. These are the only guns I have acess to in my house.

ok I saw this thread and thought what do I have access to in let's say 5 mins. So I went and gave myself a timer and amassed everything I have that's a weapon not including the standard shovel frying pan and kitchen knives. Now I know I'm not normal nor anyone else that can do the same hehe.

And yes that is a flail, and if you look that is a blowgun, yes it doesn't do alot of damage but at a good range it's very accurate. And you never know how much damage you may need haha. I'm missing my two wakizashi's and chinese war sword but they are having special sheaths being made for them I'll add photos to my profile when I get them in.

What can I say? I like axes.

I love my cricket bat I got it as a joke a long time ago but "...any port in a storm."

So I think I have enough? well for melee fights anything else I'm screwed haha.

Now that's some protection. In a few seconds I reach over beside my computer desk and grab a Hi Point 9mm Carbine and 2 large knives. Once that's in hand I just move through the rest of the house picking up what I want as I go around. I posted this before in another forum but it is what I have access to at this very moment in my home.

Hi-point? @.@ why dear god why? I would never trust my life to those. Those have to be the worse guns I've ever seen. I used to sell them at the store/range and have seen so many things go wrong with them. Now that was a few years ago so I hope that they have improved on them since. Or do you have a newer model.
