The best place to be during an outbreak?

prison is ok but i would say when it first happens in walmart so i can get enough ammo and supplies than go to a strong concrete building in the hills with a mott around filled with flamible liquide and scaffold around the house for watchout plus your up high so you have an advantage and the scaffold would be secured to the building

yeah thats why i always thought of walmart as a good place to be cuz of everything they have there, youd pretty much be set to go on to a new place.

Biggest problem with Walmart is the like is that it will be a feeding frenzy. Between the people trying to get last minute supplies and the zeds it would not be advisable to go there for at least a few weeks once things normalize. Well as normal as they can be given the circumstances.

I have all of you beat! This is 20 minutes away from my house.
It has wells inside with fresh water, a cafe with the usual supply of tinned food, large area for growing crops. Not to mention that it has a huge moat, iron gates that drop from the roof into holes in the floor (i.e. you can't push them open) and huge stone walls that are at least 10 feet thick.

and it's beautiful! well we cant all be that lucky :( i'm heading to one of the ski resorts in the nearby mountains. i will have the high ground and plenty of look out options for persistant zeds and annoying survivors. the hilly terrain will make it difficult for zeds to maneuver. during the winters i have cabins to convert to greenhouses, and snow to freeze zeds while i hunt, hit up nearby towns for supplies, and fortify my place. plenty of water, flora and fauna, and trees to keep me warm during the winter in case of no electricity. i hope it happens during summer so i don't have to push my way in. and i will be taking in VERY few survivors.

like i said, i will be taking few survivors, as many as it takes to properly secure and keep the place protected. so get there quick lol! cuz after i have enough. no one else will be getting in, dead or alive.
