How about we, as a community of zombie survivalists, put together our own manual for being prepared and staying alive during an outbreak? Members can (based on what they are good at) put down ideas along with directions on how to make it work.
Example; instead of saying fortify your home, put exactly what kinds of things you can do, what materials you will need, and directions for making it work.
It would be nice to see what everyone is good at while helping others who may be new to all this.
Maybe you know of home remedies for illnesses since medicine wont be easily obtained, home defense, or hunting tips for when you may need to go hunting for food for your family or group. Weapon maintenance, anything! I have found many great ideas on this site that i never would of thought of. and i thought i had pretty much thought of everything! lol. But now i find that it is very hard to find them again. It would be cool to be able to go to one place to find them all. so don't be shy! show us what you know. teach others to help themselves so we all have a better chance of survival when the dreaded Z day comes.
Clove esential oil is good for numbing topical pain (especially tooth pain) and is a natural antiseptic. (It burns upon contact but will numb within a minute or two.)
Mud will help draw some small objects and infection from a wound. Pack over the wound, wrap with gauze, and tie off. Cleanse really good when possible. Repeat if needed. (Remember that this will not draw anything out completely and should be used only temporarily until you can get medical attention.)
Used tea bags (wet) are a natural astringent and can be used on rashes and boils to draw out the cores of boils and relieve the itch of rashes.
One thing you must always keep in mind( this goes out to anyone who will be using a firearm) you must keep it clean and in good working order. If you somehow manage to get your hands on a gun good for you, but it will serve you no purpose if you dont know how to operate it or keep it clean. You should always carry some sort of lubricant, and other small utensils to clean areas of your firearm. And you should also take a firearm course to get a feel for it and how to learn to properly clean it.

yeah, and keep in mind that it will take longer then 2 min for them to get to a point that they are no longer a shambling flamer. we don't want to burn down our country to get rid of the menace. think of what that would to do our atmosphere. we want to be able to rebuild and not live in a world that's even more polluted then it is now.
