Zombiefied Bull Mastiffs/great danes/wolves/huskies/doberman would probably pretty nasty
Would walk faster than normal zombies (four legs) and have much sharper teeth.

yeah, but like human zombies, they'll slow down after a time, won't they (if of course the cause of zombification even effects animals in the same way in humans)

dog's muscles are built for speed and stability..most dogs are much faster than the average human when chasing a meal or otherwise
