What kind of things would you, or could you make in preparation for an outbreak? Or even during an outbreak?
Shoes that have a similar texture to that of a dogs foot for maximum grip.
A wristblade of some sort, like the one from assassins creed might come in handy. (one with an edge, not just a spike.)

I've always wanted to try this ax/blade mix. You swing upwards with it and cleave right through the head.
