If you believe internet sites, here are some of the latest points about the movie:
* The screenplay follows the plot of the book fairly closely, but incorporates more of the main character (the man sent to investigate and write a report on the Z-war) and his first-hand experiences.
* The movie will incorporate flashbacks both of the those the main character interviews and of his own experiences.
* Some have said or written that this as the first real chance for a zombie movie to win a major movie award.

hell yeah! i just listened WWZ as an audio book and it was awesome and i thought "this would be an awesome movie". i hope they make it great!

i dont have info but this would be an intresting film but i think they would have to put it in a documentay format and then have like a reanactment of wat happend to the suvivers

no movie is as good as the book....unless the movie came out first.

I thought Resident Evil was a good movie....maybe not good for Zombie type of movie...but i thought it had a good "infection" storyline...

I did not like the resident evil movies. I didn't think they remotely followed the story line of resident evil and I still wouldn't like them if they weren't resident evil.

I would think an oral history book would be hard to translate into a movie. Guess we shall see.
