nesting in Rhode Island
Ok, first off let me say. This is one Kick ass site.
So when a zombie attack hits us, and you live in Rhode Island or more importantly the downtown Providence and surrounding areas. You must make your way to the Providence Place Mall. This is the most ideal place to nest.
Those familiar with nesting will know what I'm talking about.
Those of you unfamiliar with the term. Nesting is when you find a spot good enough strong enough defendable enough to run out the course of events. You stay put and do not move. You make the minor excursions to resupply.
The Providence Place mall is the absolute best place for this.
It is a 5 story building. With plenty to offer. The only thing we would need to do is secure the first level. Make it inaccesable, or just make it secure. After that, we will have 5 levels of freedom. Plenty of stores to choose from to make our lives more livable and as comfortable as we can be, under the circumstances. Plus this is the bonus. For those unfamiliar with the PPM, there is a walk over bridge that leads into the Weston Hotel, onto their 4th floor. Yes we would have bedrooms all our own. There is plenty of room in the mall and in the weston for Lots and Lots of people. So I urge you all, if you can, as dangerous as it may be, make your way to Providence and the Providence Place Mall. We will all need to work together to make it safe and secure. no one gets a free ride. It takes a team effort to survive this. But we would have the most ideal Nest of all.

Bu tthis is a 5 story mall. so one you secure the 1st floor your golden, and the walk way into the weston...huh huh huh...thats good

All you have to note is that only one thing tends to happen when a movie or zombie-related video game is set in a mall --- nearly everyone dies.
Agreed. Bad place to be caught when the crap hits the fan. Too many warm bodies packed into a huge, open, indoor space with plenty of places for z to disappear into.

I still think you guys need to see this place. I hear you on all the access ways, but once you cut off the 1st floor, from the rest, you would be golden.
A fire station Hmm never thought about that. Thats a interesting thought.....

yor forgetting that you said theres a entrance to a hotel from there you would have to secure the first floor of the hotel as well then. not a very good idea not rightaway anyway

Tried to get there, but the parking garage that leads to Nordstrom's was infested. Heading to see if Cheesecake Factory has any desert left....(hope its not TOO old).
