I would love to hear some ideas for keeping children safe during an outbreak.Especially thinking about traveling to safer locations, modes of transport, keeping kids safe from other predators etc. During an outbreak I think I would immediately go to my child’s school to get her, but my maternal instinct would kick into overdrive and want to make sure all the kids were safe.
So what would you do?

I have no idea, waiting for the rescue squad?
The things I said in my previous post, where tips out the zombie survival guide.

And I don't experience you like a pain in the butt ;)
you are being a pain,

good idea alice, but as pointed out the zeds wont go away that easily.

and the baby milk/formula could be hard to find/make up with water shortages.
Yeh, in the book is nothing about infants. But if the mother is also there, then she could breastfeed. Then you don't have to worry about the baby. Just for yourself and the wife.
Maybe the Zeds will lose interest, and go further with there search for living meat...
I have no idea. I am just typing down what comes first into my mind.
well clearly it's just not good enough, (just kidding)

maybe the zombie survival guide needs an update,

Infants: a ball and chain or living bait.
I think so indeed, it's in desperate need of an update. Teenmothers are almost the newest hype. So the survival guide is a little outdated.
yeh, I don't like it either, but's what's happening :(.
i am luckily no teen mom, 23, single, no children :P
What does luck have to do with it? You either protect yourself or you don't. In anything.
Whaha. What about a Yellow hummer???
Okay deal ^_^ *content*
me is happy =D
Well when it hit's here, it will be like in the rest of the world. Choas.
Euhm, well the rate of teen moms here is low. Luckily. But I will have a lot of Zeds walking around. And I think that I would have a lot of fun killing some people in my village. :P
Hmmm well depends, some churches would give the children to the dead saying "god wants it", schools would try to stop dead, and end up screwed trapped in classrooms. Other schools would be well enough defended to become almost like fortress from the undead, I'm sorry to say but most children in daycare or babysat would be killed.

Now as for children on the run... Babies would be easy since they have those carriers on the front and back, just walk down the road kid in front pack on back. But the crying from the child would doom most everyone. now older children would be easy but depending on age you'd have to carry them, and other inconveniences.
