Okay, 2 days ago i posted a discussion about how safe an apartment complex would be, and it turned into a discussion about my beach house idea. Seeing as to how i live on the south Texas coast I had planned on going to a beach house, theyre very secluded, (some fenced in), all have they're own generators and water storage tanks. then the obvious, they're on 12-15 foot stilts made to withstand a hurricane. The stairs are made of wood and easily disabled and rebuild into a ladder.
The ocean can provide tons of fish and other nutrition.

Well its obvious that such house is safe. All you need now is a good company. Although i do have one suggestion: be sure to have additional ladder hidden somewhere on the ground level, you never know if the ladder might break when youre climbing down. Just a random thought...
good point.
i think the zombies will eventually get there.... warm hot weather wont slow a zombie.... cold freezing arctic.... on the other hand.... will.... all blood freezes
i think its safe from zombies, people on the other hand might want it themselves as Harold said. my advice is to have friends and a good group together to live there when the time comes. safety in numbers, just make sure you can trust them all
thats my biggerst fear durring an outbreak is the assholes who see your prefect stronghold and wat to take it. just like the motorcycle gang in the original Dawn of the Dead
