no they don't freeze. but if it is winter, get high, in a building. 3rd floor or higher. destroy all stairs. the cold preserves them. except runners. they actually might get frostbite or something. but dead walking do best in a cold environment, and worst in a tropical one.
Zombies do not make good snow bunnies - hard to film, make-up freezes, poor shooting conditions, cold weather, etc = hiring really really bad actors who would work under those conditions.

Plus I think SAG has a "no-frozen Zombie" clause.
I can't recall seeing zombies in a thunderstorm. That'd be cool as hell.
What about "DEAD SNOW" nazi zombies in the snow......
I thought that I saw a movie on the scifi channel (or should I say syfy) where the zombies were coming out of the water.....
HaHaHa! Does it count in Pirates of the Caribbean when the dead guys (aka zombies) are coming out of the water to board the ship?
you do see zombies in the movie dead snow, but they are not officle zombies. and y dont you ever see some guy on the roof pissing on the zombies and then trips and dies.
A zombie petting a kitten while helping a old lady cross the street for she can go get her meds, that's something I haven't seen and don't expect it to happen
in the german made movie called dead winter has nazi zombies in the winter in the moountins sounds dumb but you would have to wach it to enjoy it
