Ok if a zombie outbreak does happen and its not created by man. Shouldn't we have people studying the zombies to find out what makes them tick ,and finding what is able to kill multiple zombies with out affecting humans or the enviroment?

i guess some study would be needed, like to see if they are as base and stupidly driven by instinct as we believe now or are able to adapt. This should be strictly limited to research focused on extermination and let that be that. I think to much time and resources devoted to finding out what makes them tick puts many brave souls and many many brilliant scientists in danger.
