Dude good choice, also i use a katana or thin sword, i also like the sniper more , my fav is cal. 50 yeah i know pretty heavy, but also the .22, and a revolver , simple handgun S&W, or a little sub machine gun.

Can anyone give me a list of the benefits of a .50 caliber sniper aside from it being in video games? If your heart is really set on a sniper rifle something chambered in .223 or .308 would be infinitely more practical.

IT has a lot of of gunpower
i mean it can almost trespass 2 hummer vans
its a quick shot
it can take a zombies arm or head out
ITS in modern warfare 1 & 2
Borderlans
Punisher games
Hitman has a same one
its huge gun and heavy
It has lot of zoom idk really how many but you can almost aim to someones far ans it still very efficient
It also can break a car
Its a kick ass weapon..

ok just so you know about the range on a .50 cal ya its got the range of a mile, but anything beyond 500 meters your not going to want to shoot at and wants you start getting to like 600 700 and beyond 800 meters you have to start calculating things like range wind humidity flight time of the bullet at a 1000 meters you throw in the spin of the earth and with a 30.06 or .308 you can fire it up to 800 meters anyways and still be accurate the zoom on a weapon is purely the scope it has nothing to do with the weapon its self the main use of the .50 cal rifle is anti vehicle and as a terror weapon to scare the bujesus out of people and most snipers use the .308 cal when they are taking on large groups of targets

Pretty much what Josh said. Also don't forget the ridiculous weight of both the weapon AND the ammo. The gun itself weighs close to 30 pounds.

the only thing i could think of for using the .50 cal in a zombie world is if you were at a safe house and someone tried to drive through your fence then you could just drop an easy round through the engine block

yeah , it depends on the distance , if it goes away you must have a very good shot, and remember is the cal. 50 its not a such exact-shot gun i mean its for big targets.... or to break one small.Yeah of course in the time the zeds attack i would use both i just like accurate weapons like snipers or simply a marsksman or assault rifle M40.
