It is indeed a zombie movie. It is based on the movie [oREC] or Record.
Some think it is a new vampire movie, however it is not. I can't wait to see Quarantine, and I'm trying to get my hands on REC because it looks better than the remake.

What turned you off about Cloverfield? It was amazing. It was realistic that is why it was great, which is the reason this movie will be awesome.

I thought Cloverfield sucked because of the way it was shot. The storyline was promising but the execution of it was just horrible. I mean nobody wants to watch a home movie, it would have been 10x better if they shot it traditionally.
Plus it was so annoying at time when you want to see what it was.

Yeah i see the trailer everyday multiple times a day but excited about the release(gamestop tv). i am currently trying to find REC myself but hard to come by. the movie is more like an infected zombie film but yeah not for sure.
