Nothing with strikes

Best to go with Judo, Aikido, Jujitsu...just because zombies are dead, their joints can still be maniuplated just as well as a living person.
Yeah, but they don't feel pain so joint manipulation doesn't really work. Its all pain reliance. I wouldn't go hand to hand with a Z. Don't have a weapon against a Z, just run away. No need to get into grabbing range yanno?
Joint manipulation has nothing to do with inflicting pain what-so-ever.
your thinking more of grappling and submission. i think everyone else is talking about throws, arm locks, and anything to make it so that zombie cant just grab you. its kinda like holding a crab by the joint on the back leg, it can reach and reach but it cant manage to reach far enough to pinch you.
Exactly, joint manipulation uses the design of the joint to make it impossible to move beyond a certain angle, eg so someone can't physically turn towards you (and bite you) the pain that come with these techniques is just a byproduct.
pai gwa or black tiger the martial art focused on deadly attacks as well as fast blows, but any of the wu chi schools works as well, but the ancient art of im gonna force my foot into your head smashing your skull works just as well
xynyi Liuhe Quan- using your body to force them off their feet (fat zombies, your doomed)
Pi Gua!
Anything that involves strikes is useless against zombies and very dangerous to the person performing the strikes. The only situation I can think of that it could be used is if you are on your back, in a dead end alley and a zombie is sitting on your chest, where you can't gain any grip on them to perform a technique to get them off you or grab a brick etc..
Probably my favorite use of kung fu and religion on the undead-

As a last CQC resort i would do judo, since judo is the "gentle way" i expend less energy to throw off an attacker who has no pain limit and has above average strength (more than the average person) and since pressure points work by reflexology you can still disable the zed with a "bending and locking of the arm" technique(it also helps if you have experience in the martial art you chose)
I only have a little experience with krav maga, a few sessions. I'd stay as far away as possible, grappling, and joint manipulation is all well and fine, but it requires getting in close. I don't know any of those techniques, so i can't really comment.

From my experiences, against a slow zombie. They have poor balance because of the poor fine motor skills. so a front kick will give you a farther reach then most zombie's arm lengths, and a low kick to the knee, or lower waist, should be enough to take 'em down. then either run or stomp the head in.
