Definitely creepy. Although the first vid was removed by the poster, I got to see the second one. I think that kind of stuff is just "touchy-feely" crap meant to sugar-coat issues with Care-Bear-style emotions and act as a decoy to distract from reality and hard truths. What's next -- Teletubbies giggling and cooing to the kids watching to go tell their parents to vote for (insert candidate's name here)?
Kids are typically too trusting and naive (it's the only time in our lives when we are blessedly allowed to enjoy that feeling) to understand politics. Sure, they are old enough to care about the world around them, but just because they are cute and innocent doesn't mean they should be used as a political ploy to sway adults' votes come election time.
The world of high-level politics is an ugly, often immoral game. I think it's downright disgusting to drag children into the fray, and to pretend that all you have to do is sing and look cute to affect change. I am totally thumbs-down on that and I would never let any kid of mine be lured into participating. It made me want to gag like those old Coca-Cola TV commercials where everybody joined hands and sang, "I'd like to teach the world to sing...in perfect harmony..."

Wow I can't believe this thread was revived. It got canned within the 1st day I posted it, glad to see it back though. I'll see if I can find another link to the 1st video.
