Where would you guys want to make your last stand against the Zombie epidemic if , and when, it were to reach your city or town.

ina a fortress full of ammo and food with 20 soldiers ready to fight and the fortress would be located in the middle of all of the zombies

I'd make sure I wouldn't have a Last Stand. I'll just keep on goin'.
But if i seriously had to choose, I'd do it in my house, because there's a balcony type thing looking over the front of the house and the stairwell. If i could set up there with several other dudes, we could probably pick off several hundred before resorting to melee, then escaping through a back window if possible.

On the move, man. If possible. Staying in a populated area is just plain dumb. If there are thousands of zombies milling about and you try to ' wait it out ' on a roof somewhere, the zombies will wait you out. They can't drive, can they?

The center of town with the remains of the police force and with the surviors of the town
4 possible ends to this
1. We succed in killing of of them
2. the military comes and saves us
3. military inact operation "OMEGA"-drop bomb. kill everyone.
4. the premitar falls, the zombies devor us

I would like to make my last stand at the Alamo. Since I live in San Antonio, it would be symbolic. The doors didn't hold for the Alamo defenders back then, I am pretty damn sure they wont hold for us new defenders.

haha id be on top of the ski hill by my house, a 4 minute walk through 4 ft snow. watching the zombies untiring attempts to get me, with no success. if i felt like it, i could just freeze them all with the snow makers, then run around with a shotgun and blow them to peices at point blank. i could also use my rifle and blow all their heads off, or just chuck molotovs at them, and watch them all burn. i would have options.

I'd love to go down in a chocolate factory. It'd be like Willy Wonka's Las Stand...I love chocolate, so at least I could go into sugar shock before I off myself with my lsat bullet after the zeds storm the building.

Why doesn't anyone go out say... on the ocean maybe lake? there you wont have to deal with zombies, you wouldn't have smell their stench (if you're far out enough) and all of the decomposing germs... I've been looking @ other discussions and haven't seen hardly anything mentioned about going out on a boat of some kind.
I would pack some food, clothes and water, go to the nearest lake (about 10 miles form my home) get in a boat and wait out the riots, after things have settled, I'd head back to shore, walk into town, grab what i can carry and get back asap, i think that that would be less risky then say a hospital, or my house, or grocery store... eventually in a home you will be forced into an attic or a basement, then where will you go? in a hospital, like I've seen you can NEVER be 100 % sure that you're alone, and where will you go for food? more then likely people that had the infection went to the hospital to get it "taken care of" in the ocean or river you can go any where, really. you're not as restricted. if there are zombies in one place, go about a mile down river...
Anyone think this might be a bad idea?

I've got a huge list of why taking a boat out for prolonged periods of time isn't a good idea, but I wont get into that. I do agree that it'd be safer than going to a hospital. A hospital would be the last place you'd want to be during an outbreak. Where do you think all the people with mysterious bites, cuts, or sicknesses go to get treated? Hospitals are a sure fire way to get mobbed and ripped apart :D

I would get some C4 and set it on the supports of the building we were in and we would barricade ourselves in and fight till we were either out of ammo or were over run, The last man alive would try and lure as many zombies into the building as possible and then detonate the C4 burying the zombies
