All animals naturally fear zombies, as a fact. However, the domesticated canine is one of the bravest, most loyal animals on the face of the Earth. They are willing to put themselves in the way of danger to protect who they believe to be their "pack". Such is taken into account in the canine unit of a police outfit. They train dogs to do their job of protecting indefinitely, regardless of fear or situation. Knowing this, would it be practical to use trained dogs as a way to deal with zombies? Not for attacking of course, but the fact that they are faster, more agile, and more energetic than humans, they could serve as a distraction, or a lure. They are living flesh, which means a zombie will go after them, but prefer humans. Though, would a trained dog be able to catch a zombie's attention, drawing it away from a zombie? Would training a dog to face zombie invasion be a valuable resource, or a waste of time?
