Despite the fact that zombie films are mostly fictional I think they can still serve to educate people on zombie behavior as well as teach strategies for killing and evading zombies.

Having said that, what are your favorite zombie films?

well of course the romero movies are great.i liked the 28 days, weeks movies, Severed wasnt too bad but could have been better. house of the dead was a total waste of time.there is one called Forest of the dead which is a giant piece of donkey turd
Ther is one thats is old school but its pretty wild. Children should'nt play with dead things-If you have'nt seen it i recomened it.

And another newer one dead & deader with dean cain. Its kinda of a spoof on other weak zombie films. But it has alot of great cameos by good actors.
hi! 1st post!

wow great site here! now lets see... evil dead is in a class of its own but as far as your typical zombie flick goes id have to say automoton transfusion! and im a bit supprised no one mentioned it! all classic and grainey looking and the pregnant chick(who was drinking a beer, can anyone say karma?) 28 Days Later
28 Weeks Later
Dawn of the Dead
Night of the Living Dead
Shaun of the Dead

YES.
28 weeks later and shaun of the dead
1.) The firts 14 min of the DAWN RE-make( the rest is cool, but wow the beging & the credits with the jonny cash song rocks..

2.) Romeros first three--I thought land was weak. But the 5th one Diary of the dead is alot better..

3.) Shaun of the dead.

4.) 28 weeks & days later..

Is sad since 68 when night of the living dead came out. There has only been like 7 good zombie films. And one of them was a remake
i LOVE outright 28 Days Later (not just because of Cillian Murphy) but because it shows different kinds of zombie outbreaks, this one had a quick more agressive (literally) incubation period.

Shaun of the Dead takes zombie outbreaks to a hilarious point, but it also shows proper zombie behavior. Slow shuffled movements, a long incubation period, and it works with how Britian just might be first.

with 28 weeks later i hate how it didn't follow any of the same stature, and u'd expect harsher punishment from the Brit, Gov. when those kids ran into infected areas AND not to mention how STUPID was that guy who made out with his wife even though he KNEW that she was INFECTED! dumbass
ther not zombies in 28 days ther infected with rage
hey guys. im new here but gotta say the remake of dawn was great. the remake of day not so much lol

it totally blows.

fucking hot fuzz smokes that shit.

anyhow great site.
So i love'd the 28 days/weeks later movies. I like the super fast zombies, but there is also a zombie tale in Scary Tales 2: The Return of Mr Longlfellow (shameless plug). Altho i do prefer the first story (INSANELY shameless plug) with Shoogy (SICKENINGLY shameless plug)
I bought house of the dead and starship troopers II just so I could show my friends what not to watch thinking of adding Doom to the list
