Does anyone feel the way I do about 28 days later franchise?
It's not a zombie film. the main problem is that they are just really angry humans. in a sense it's a 90 minute soccer riot and it just gets me angry that people lump it in with zombie flicks thats why I'll always love the shuan of the dead guys that they made fun of it at the end of there movie.

yeah i get that but people i talk to always bring up those 2 crappy movies. but maybe its just who i hang out with is the problem thats why i started this post to see what other like minded individuals think of them

I wouldn't count them as zombies because most of them end up just starving to death in the end.Next thing you'll see is Sally Struthers out begging for money to feed the hapless infected.In my personel opinion the main criteria for a zombie is not being alive so if somthing can starve it's not a zombie(to me anyway)Zombie or not I still wouldn't want them hanging arounfd my house.

I agree there can be many types of zombie,I'm just saying to me the clasic "Romero style" zombie is the baseline and the other types are modifications or elaborations on that theme.there is plenty of room(and food) in the zombie genre for all kinds of zombies.
