Centerfiresystems.com has them in stock. I've seen them at three gun competitions and all over gun shows. They are out there if you look.

The obvious choice is a firearm at least .22 caliber for piercing the skull however it is better to aim for the eye sockets. I would also keep a melee weapon of a sort as a last resort a machete would be great and I would also suggest a riot shield its easy to use not a killing weapon but it covers 2/3 or the body an excellent defensive item.

Obvious to who? If it is such an obvious choice why don't all police and military use the .22 long rifle?

i would have to say that you guys have some pritty awsome ideas but i would have to stick with the safty of my sniper much more effective then a sword or throwing knives. good ideas but not that effective,sniper= distance and safty well as long as you get them in the head =)

Throwing knives and stars? This aint the movies ninja man. A knife isnt going to do NAN...I dont care how you throw it. I spent one year in Afghanistan, the only thing a knife is good for is picking your teeth and putting notches in your stock.

Besides a bulldozer?
12 gauge shotgun...its common, lots of ammunition around (even at walmart) and its easy to load and reload. People have to understand that you arent gonna find some heavy weapons lying around...at least not common enough to stand an unlimited supply of undead. If you do find some nice guns...like an ak-47 where are you gonna get ammo for it? its next to impossible to find it, unless you have a clearance...Maybe if you were in another country besides America. If your stuck in the good ole' USA though the gun laws are so crazy that if people have heavy weapons, they are at least restricted by ammo cache. Unless they make them! Most of us though are stuck with shotguns, handguns, and rifles.

research your gun laws, I can pick up ak ammo at walmart, same as I can pick up cetme ammo at walmart, same as I can pick up .22s at wal mart, learn your guns, learn the laws, it has made me look smarter than I am for years.
