I just read through this whole giant flame war, now I ask myself why on earth I did that, and furthermore, the best weapon is what you have and are good with, I'm gifted with a lever action 30-30, but if all I have is a stick my rifleman skills dont mean much, and much the same, I'm pretty useful with my knife, but if all I have is a .22 cricket then all my abilities with my knife are pointless.
