Once Bitten...
In the event that any of you become infected, how would you handle the situation? How long would you wait to tell someone, would you tell? Would you...eh...well, handle the situation yourself? Would you infect someone else?

I'd tell everyone, make sure they stay on the lookout, ready to kill me if need be.
It would be kind of enlightening to wait it out, and see the true mentality (if any) of a zombie. Do they kill because they're mindless? Or do some of them just do it because they can blame it on their 'condition'?
Perhaps there is still some sentience left in (un)death.

they have no thought only instinct because the frontal lobe of the brain has been eaten away by the virus which is in charge of reason thought and some motor functions

simple.
i would give someone who i trusted the gun.
then we would wait.
if i'm a lucky ass one in a million who's somehow immune to zombies.
then they won't shoot me.
if not.
i'll get them to shoot me.
it shouldn't be more complicated than that.

I could'nt leave it up to a relative. They might freeze then what you eat them.
I'd just take my party on the road,and when the time comes. Dont get in my way cuz ya know what they say sharring is carring...
If your going to turn you need to atleast bite 1 person :) Or whats the fun in that

if you bite someone before the process has totally run its course(you've died and reanimated) does the victim still get infected

I'd tell anyone with me right away. I'd rather not be taken out untill i had changed. I've always told my friends, if I am bitten, tie me up so I can't attack once I do change. THen slip a bag over my head, and cave in my skull with a hammer (bag prevents blood spray on them, and keeps the room clean.)
