3rd Call to Action <--- at the end of this there's a written report of my first (and so far) only encounter with a zombie.

I'm not from around Texas but I actually heard something on the news once about a strange shutdown to all roads and flying perimiters in a small little place just south west of Auston. After some further investigation I got into contact with somebody down in that area and she told me about a strange outbreak that was making people begin to go insane and attack and rip apart other people. I think she mentioned something about it being because of the water being 'unpure'. I got into contact with her via radio, just like those other survivors down in Maine.

I no longer live in Texas but, I am aware of several small outbreaks that have happened along the Mexican border, around the Big Bend National Park Area. The worst of the outbreak happened in Alpine, Tx and Marfa Tx. Read up on the mystery lights, people have begun to think they have something to do with the whole thing. It is also heavily watched by the military, and they do excercizes there constantly. We used to watch them from the damn across the road from our family ranch. The first sighting for me was a fellow limping oddly down the street. He walked a bit like a penguin. We circled the block and came back, but he wasn't there anymore. His body was found by the train tracks a few days later. They tried to say the drug cartel had finished him off....but the bites all over his arms were a bit...tell-tale. This was in September 07.

I just told lonewolf this but apparently there was a radioactive chemical spill in Tennesse this morning. I heard that they evacuated the area and told everyone not to go anywhere near it. I'll comment again if I hear anything else.

I'm in Texas and I saw this on the news. I don't remember the date or the exact highway, but I think it was near Dallas somewhere.
There was a truck carrying tanks of some chemical in the back, but they didn't say what it was. Apparently one of the tanks started leaking and they had to close down the entire highway and call in a hazard team to remove the tanks and clean up the spill. They had gasmasks and hazard suits and everything. I don't know if this has anything to do with zombies but that chemical had to be something dangerous to close down an entire highway because of a spill.
This was 2 or 3 days ago I think.

Here's some genuine strange activity. Anyone with any information or experiences similar to this let me know.
I live in Wichita falls, TX, a large town on I-44 20 minutes south of the Oklahoma Border and 2 hours north of dallas. We have a base, Sheppard Air Force Base, that is used as an international (Nato?) training base. I see egyptian and other international soldiers from time to time. Anyway, the people here have never been quite right. Theyre all very introverted and non-social, a sort of tension follows you around here. As a loose example, they fnally built a coliseum that EVERYONE wanted, and not a single of the dozen or so different A-list headliners that have come through have sold out the place. More like barely half the seats are full. And they all had big fan bases here. So anyway, a recent phenomenon that has my networks buzzing is called Chem-trails. I havent learned anything concrete about them, so all I know is what Ive seen. We have noticed peculiar smoke trail patterns left at really high altitudes criss crossing the entire town in a very calculated looking lay out, like a precise grid. They happen about once a month, and they even do it to the small town (Burkburnett) 14 miles north of Wichita falls and just on the other side of the base. They claim its from training simulations, but they run those all the time and they dont look like that. They started like around the beginning of the year, and no shit, since then everyone and their dog has reported odd flare ups of allergies. One guy I know is an old country boy, grew up his whole life milkin cows and bailin hay, never had an allergy in his whole 45 year life, till this year. I know they can develop late, but everyone in town developing them at once? Im planning on getting out in the next year or so, but we are litterally (no rping) trying to move the entire unit, so coordinating 4 peoples lives and finances is difficult. A fifth unit member is already traveling the country for shits and giggles (just graduated with a bachelors of psychology). He and another guy here with me both have families and kids, so.....
