The blood spatter issue is actually covered in the book. Short version: zombie blood would be thinner (not thicker) than human blood, hence the thin blood trails on the cover. A blood spatter expert explains why in the book.

And...as far as I know every bookstore in North America will carry it. Though, for some reason my publisher has yet to make clear to me, it'll be in with the metaphysical/New Age books. Yeah...that's what I said, too!

During the release, though, it should be on the front tables, especially in September and August.
i will be looking out for it
You'll love it. The artwork is killer, too. It even has an 8-page color insert with art by Jason Beam Chad Michael Ward, Rob Sacchetto and others.
Hey, Teresa...nice to see you, too!
ill be looking for it, sounds like a very interesting book
Let me know what you think once you get it.
This should be interesting though I've always thought of zombies as being biologically similar to plants in terms of cellular organization.
I think a lot of people are going to be surprised by what the doctors and scientists in the books say. Real experts giving opinions as real as the subject matter allows. Wild stuff.
Would the forgotten term "Transubstantiation" be popping up?
if zombies are biologically similar to plants does that mean that all their cells are fully totipotent i.e that they can regenerate themselves
Interesting theory, but it doesn't square with the Romero-type zombies. It might explain the shapeshifting alien in THE THING (original story and John Carpenter remake).
Regeneration is a step I wouldn't take. The damage they can sustain and still function reminds me more of a plant though.
