We dispatched a bitten family member who was 8 mos pregnant. We did a crude c-section on the fetus and it survived. What are the chances of her getting the virus if she was taken immediately after her mom was bitten?

I would say theres a good chance the baby is not infected because its show people with AIDS can have uninfected babies. I would keep an eye on the baby, its not like it has teeth yet and can bit you when your not paying attention! But if it does turn please don't let it suffer.
So far,so good.....We are hoping.
its true a baby would immediatly turn because of its small stature, because the virus would take longer to travel in an adult or a child.
the baby would still die and return, there is no way for a baby to survive
in an infected person. now if a woman was infected, you could try to get it out immediatly after she is bitten, maybe the baby will survive, if not mercy kill it.
People with AIDS can have unifected babies, and that travels through blood and bodily fluids.
Infected nutrients?
nutrients aren't living things...
