So a while back I found an online poll that asked if there was a horde of 5 year olds who were turned into zombies coming at you, how long do you think you would survive?

If this possibility offends you, dont even bother posting.

But here is the question... there are you, in a hallway, a baseball bat in hand, and the door to the day care opens up and here comes a line of 5 year old zombies, wanting you for thier next dinner. Could you swing that bat? If so, how long you think you would survive?

My answer originally was simple. IF I could muster the ability to swing that bat on the first one. I am pretty sure it would be easy from there.

Human instinct is such a powerful thing, and having children literally activates this subconcious hesitant clause when you deal with children. Only a small percentage of folks don't get it, and it is difficult to turn off. Fortunately, I make orphans, not babies.
I would beat them to a bloody pulp. They are not your friends, your nieghbor, your family, your co-worker, not a random kid at day-care, they are horrible monsters that must be destroyed.
When I read the first line "I would beat them to a bloody pulp." I laughed so hard I swallowed cigarette smoke.
Its glad to know that bloody, meaty, piles of 5-year olds make you laugh. =D
at first I would imagine it would be very difficult, like visogoth mentioned human instinct... but, it depends on which urge is more powerful, logic or emotion... logic would tell me, they arent kids, but monsters...emotion would tell me that I have two sisters, that I helped raise, somewhere...

Personally I cant say right now... Ill have to see when the time comes
Oh I see I got most of you thinking on this one lol
XD

Maybe they are just 5 year-olds who just ate a hotdog with a lot of ketchup.
hahaha.
If I had to kill them to survive, I would try to avoid them if I could. But a zombie is a zombie. It would be hard to live with myself if I killed a bunch of zombie kids and later a cure was found. But in time of war you will do what you have to do.
See actually I had the same kinda thought for a while. (this train of thought was brought on by Stephen King's "The Mist" and its ending. I mean.. what if... you took that bat to the kids, and after the last one falls.... anyhoo not gonna ruin that movie for anyone who hasnt seen it.. But seriously...)
I havent read this one yet. Its in my book club list.
I was impressed with that ending. To me that was the ultimate really since it did not pull any punches.
