If you think about it, there is not much acess to highly powerful weapons such as m16 and like a desert eagle. What would be some good house items to use?!?! I would think my lawn mower would work well if i modified it somehow.
hmmm printers... i have 4 of those and a fax machine XDD thats 5 dead zombies.
what about piling a bunch of furniture/cars??? on the stairwayy i mean they will eventually get it down but if you have a sturdy base it could be a good shit
This is why you keep a ladder upstairs and take the stair case out as soon as shit hits the fan with zombies. You don't have to take it allout though. Just the bottom 6 feet.
in my view point a all around good weapon to take down a zombie with would have to be a mossberg shotgun. a shotgun with its spread can easily take down a small group. and if you put a deer slug into the weapon, gives it alittle bit more of a reach. not the range of a carbine rifle like the M-16, which is prone to double feeds, jams and pop no kicks(very dangerous to the shooter). and if your up for melee, use metal like the good ol' hatchet or a lead pipe.
true, but all law enforcement carries a form of shotguns. they are quite common to find, even in the smallest community. but the lead pipe is a issue, a post above suggested a copy/fax machine. thats alittle too close in my opinion. if your using melee weapons, your gonna be in close.
Quick reply... Im not trying to say that the M-16 is the greatest weapon ever but dont be too down on it. It is one of the most reliable battle proven weapons of all time. Proper maintenance, be good to it and it will be good to you. But I do agree with you on the shotgun, although I spent my money on other weapons so I couldnt afford a moss. I do have a Remington that I like.
They are not prone to double feeds bad mags cause double feeds. They are also vert reliable if properly taken care of. As for the pop up kick if you are holding it the way you should in order to shoot properly it won't kick you in the face. I spent almost 45 months in Iraq and I never had a Jam I only had 1 double feed and that was due to a bad mag (sometimes you dont know till its to late and the issue mags blow) and I have never ever had it kick me in the face, the recoil is very slight on a M-16.
"a shotgun with its spread can easily take down a small group"
sorry, but i have to call BS on this. a shotgun spred pattern is on avrage one inch per yard travled. a shotgun fireing much smaller than #4 shot is pointless at any distance, perferabul is 00 buckshot.
that puts 8 pelets in a shell, and by the time that the shor has spred far enough to get 8 diffrent targets, it has lost most of it's energy.
that is why most states want slug for deer hunting.
