I've been on these forums for a while now, and have yet to see this question asked: What would you do if someone that you were close to (emotionaly) became infected with the Z-virus? Someone that was family perhaps? Or a spouse? Even just a close friend? Would you be able to kill them? Think about this before answering. Even though they are a zombie, they would still resemble your loved one, and your mind would still asociate them with the emotions that you had for them while they were alive/human. Could you honestly kill them? And don't just answer with "Of course I could." or something like that. I find that, unless you are/have been in that position, you cant really be sure.

When they're a theat, they are no longer MY family. Yes I could kill them.
You would have to kill them...they did not chose to become zombies so the best you can give them is clean, painless and fast death.( i dont say that it would be easy...at least not for me ).
I never told that i couldnt kill one of my beloved who turned into zombies. I just think that i would feel like shit after awhile. :/ Plus i was talking about still not zombie infested loved ones. And dont say that it would be easy for you to kill a bitten friend, or fammily member while he/she is still human.
Well then sorry, i thought you reffered to me.

Peace :D
If it was my family, I know I would have a hard time. But as far as my friends are concerned, they all know the rules. I would want them to put me down if I was a zombie and they know that I don't believe there is a cure for the Z-Virus. So, if they get bit, they're gone.
I'm not a cold haearted bastard by any means but I mean yeah they look like my loved ones but they aren't anymore. It's like when a family member has died.
Yeah I have these fond memories of them. But it's going to an open casket funeral. Been to a bunch of them. I mean that body in the casket is a shell of that person. THEY aren't there anymore. What they were. Call it a soul or whatever. It's moved on. Now it's just a body. So with me it would be hard but and this does sound cold hearted. It's me or them. Survival instinct kicks in. I could do it. Only thing that would REALLY hurt is if I was with that person and they got infected to watch that person slowly or quickly depending on the speed of the virus. But yeah to watch them slowly stop being the person they were and becoming a member of the undead.
One part of your mind is saying "its still my loved one". While another part is saying "There is nothing left of my loved one in that body". Its a matter of which one you choose to believe. I think the real question is, do you want to live without that loved one? Personally, I believe in the whole "life must go on" bit. So I'd have to do it.
