You are on a prarie, rolling plains strech out as far as you can see. You have a vertually unending supply of water and fifteen years worth of dehydrated food packets, if you eat heavily. You have twenty five gallons of gasoline, and an armored bus with a wind-up radio. You have 40+ semi-automatic weapons. Not that you need them, as you have a quarter mile of sixteen foot concrete walls enclosing your encampment. You also have wind power, and a generator. All of that plus the four foot moat dug in front of the wall makes your new territory almost inpenetrable. Everything anyone could ever want to survive is there. Except for one problem.
You are alone.
You can make it to the nearest town but you may not have enough gas to get back. The radio blares as, over time, survivors are overran and killed. The population of the town is in the thousands, and you have heard radio chatter from over thirty groups of survivors in town. The longer you wait the lower the chance of finding survivors is. You can't answer back on the radio but, you think you know the general location of some of the survivors.
Oh and one more thing, your off the grid. No one knows where you are, no one has any reason to come this way, and except for the town about fourty miles away, there are plains for around eighty miles in all directions.
WOW, you literally have everything you need. id have to say id stay. id walk along the top of my concrete wall hoping someone alive would come by for safety
Damn thats one hell of a situation, I would take a ton of supplies and go into the town. And if I found survivors I would show them everything I had and convince them to come with me. After that I try to get some extra gas and get as many people out of there.
