Has anyone seen Romero's "Diary of the Dead"? I'm getting ready to order it but would like opinions. I can't imagine a Romero movie being not worth owning. Just curious.

It was ok but the zombies kept ignoreing the camera guy.
I've gotten many responses to this discussion, much appreciation to all. I've decided to go ahead and add it to my collection. Romero fan, can't help myself.
i loved most of the movie
spoiler!!!!!
the amish guy was awesome!

but the camera work made me sick to my stomach
I've heard from others that the camera work sucked. Kinda surprising....
"""Spoiler part II"""" the Amish guy was trying on shoes in Dawn of the Dead...down with the sickness
I finally got a chance to watch it....The Amish guy was Glen from Dawn of the Dead? I didn't even notice! I loved that the radio broadcast when they were in that compound with all those black guys was taken from the original Night of the Livind Dead. Oh, and the cross eyed guy giving them weapons was Tucker from Dawn of the Dead. I really liked it.
If you have seen the "Night" remake it would fit between it and the "Dawn" remake pretty well.I liked it, it's kinda Cloverfield meets Blair Witch but the in camera stuff adds to an almost documentery feel. So let me know what you think... L8Ron:{
I loved it!!! I haven't seen Cloverfield because my daughter said it sucked and I HATED Blair Witch. I thought it was a damn good movie.
Cloverfield is the worst film I have ever seen!

If it was a book, you would only get the first two chapters and then the rest of the book would be blank pages.
good movie for zombie fans.
I liked it, it got back more to Romero's original style (which land of the dead didnt-not that i didnt like it).
I really enjoyed the movie, and I got to see the pre-premiere of it during Valentine's Day in Phoenix AZ.

Then again, I don't watch Romero films for the zombies so much as I do for the biting (pardon the pun) social commentary.

He had a message, and I got it. It was definately worth it.

The DVD also has a bunch of extra footage, such as character confessions and video contest submissions.
