Before searching for the new ones, try some classics. Because you mentioned Death Metal, I presume you like Death Metal. In my opinion you should check Impetigo and Autopsy. And maybe some new ones like Fondlecorpse, Bloodfreak and Frightmare.

I'm really into Euro-black metal. I feel american metal is stagnating like zombie puss. A couple of my faves are Susperia, the Crown, Dimmu Borgir and, Hypocrisy. Also, this years Metal Mayhem show looks sick! Slayer, Manson, No Job For a Cowboy, God Forbid. Looks sick!

Possessed...fukkin killer 80's metal. Early Enslaved (Frost) is pretty cool for a Black/Viking Metal vibe (you can never go wrong with older shit) & Dark Rectum (plug) because we play ZOMBIE themed covers i.e. Zombi, Astro Zombies!!!
