that's a good idea actually, the quick scraps and scratches that you'd usually get from zombie's attempts of grabbing you... nice one, but i don't know about the whole "going out in style" part, lol.

what about the blowfish. Getting back to the topic, the blow fish has the ability to expand itself to scare away its enemies, now i know the whole fear thing will not work on the zed heads but the idea of an expandable exo-skeleton could be a great way to get yourself out of jam. The other thing about blowfish in general is what they have when there dead. This fish has a poison that is very hard to remove so there is actually meat to eat. If there was a way to do this to ourselves, that if and when we die/get infected instead of coming back we die and take down anyone else that has infected us.

You'd be better off strapping dynamite charges to your body...however, if you could manage to get some sort of safe-explosive to just "push" the zombies off of you with a quite brute force, meanwhile doing little to no harm to you, say, a spring-loaded bb suit that shot OUTWARD...
